Some of the most beautiful places in the world are being overrun by trash. Thank you for the clean up but, even more so, setting a good example for the public and your children. People like you, truly, make a difference! --Jessica from Florida 🌞

I love your videos and love your life. You have such a wonderful family. You made a fantastic decision to raise your children the Way You Are. Sorry I'm kind of sad right now. but your video is helping to take my mind off things . if only for a little while. I had recently met someone. I had been alone for 15 years. Instantly we both knew this was right. We were supposed to leave and go to Key West in June. But he had a stroke and emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. Two days ago he passed away. I am so lost and do not know what to do. I've quit my job and need to move and have no idea where I'm going. We had that all planned. I'm so broken right now. Hug your family tight never hold back telling them anything. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that. Enjoy every moment you have to the fullest. I don't know what else to say. Love watching you guys. And I wish you happiness healthiness and a long life.

Each one of these locations should have a central dumpster depot where good people like you can deposit the trash, later to be picked up by a collection ship for recycling.

*_ SADLY The Indonesians are KNOWN for being one of the biggest polluters, research in 2018 indicates that Ciliwung River, which divides Indonesia's capital Jakarta, is among the most polluted rivers in the world. ... That figure is way higher than for the Chao Phraya river in Thailand (5,000 items per hour), Seine river in France (700 items) and Rhine river in the Netherlands (80 items) .... Time to start petitioning your government to take ACTION! _*

I would be tempted to anchor the boat under that Arch and it was good to see the girls go walkabout in the rain instead of hiding on the boat. Oh and I don't like people with that much drawing talent 🤪 my brain just won't work that way. Enjoy every minute 🏴‍☠️

As always, another spectacular sailing adventure. The landscape is so amazing, and your underwater shots are right up there with the best I have seen on TH-cam from the other top sailing adventures. Thrown away trash is always a tragedy, made worse when it arounds gorgeous tropical islands. It is a shame that so many time are thoughtless, self centered or simply down right stupid bozos. My mothers told me to pick up after myself. I suppose not everyone had a good mother. Sad really. glad to see that your family and other boating families are working together to promote the recycling of plastics into useful products. Such a smart idea. The Sea God's will love you for your affords. Oh' yea, nice artwork at the end of this video. Being an artist for many decades myself I can tell you, this stuff is pretty cool. Also the girls are really super climbing goats, fearless. Cirque du solei is looking for them. Stay groovy and of course, stay safe.

Sadly I have seen that all around the Indonesian Archipelago. Many locals do the toxic burning. Most just toss it into creeks rivers, off the ferries and out the windows of their vehicles. Breaks my heart there is such an endless uneducated attitude towards plastic. And rarely do you see govt agencies there with any care or educational awareness pollution campaigns. As you say the locals have no support or infrastructure and the levels of endemic corruption in Govt and local govt governance remains unchallenged and accepted. Keep up your small footprint against this it is much appreciated. Namaste...👃

We were just in Belize and the amount of plastic on the beaches is staggering. There is no way to clean up without mobilizing thousands of workers on a continuous basis. The solution is not just with the consumer or in recycling... It must be with the manufacturers and sellers. They must be accountable for the waste their products create. Import duties on single use plastic containers and packaging would be a good start. Countries who depend on beautiful beaches and waterways for tourism need to get ahead of this problem, as it is getting out of control.

Each and every isolated placed that is frequently visited by yachts needs a small clay kiln where who ever visits and collect plastics can burn it successful. Our tests shown that plastics can be incinerated with hardly any poisonous gasses released. A proper kiln will burn at around 750 to 800 degree cel. My Seven Seas project is all about this. And maintenance on the kilns can also be done by visiting yachts. Great education and fun. One can recycle plastics but its a small % of plastics that can really be recycled and in the end,not effective in fighting this problem. Burning a mix of plastics in a open fire can be extremely dangerous due to the toxic gasses formed at low temperatures. I,w post on our face book page some alternative ideas to a kiln which we tested and measure the quality of the gasses given off.

Most plastic comes downriver from the countries too poor to have garbage service and proper landfills. This is well-documented and about ten major rivers in Asia and Africa account for almost all the plastic. Some comes from unscrupulous ships disposing of their garbage at sea instead of at port where it costs a bit. The rest is just people who don't have access to a place to dump it.

Ironic how some of the most beautiful places on earth are used as a toilet by the inhabitants. Sad the countries that "Rule" or are a territory of, are more worried about the religion and Tax money than taking care of the environment.

Scenery destroyed by plastic, are you allowed to burn it out there, in UK people would be shouting about the Ozone layer. How come we don't see Taj jumping off cliffs, even I've had a shot of "bridge jumping" in the UK. Scared the hell out of the teenagers when a 60+ year old man joined in. 😅🤣🤣🤣
