A few more points about Janus: -Both the bonus damage from your passive and the extra scaling from your 3 can proc item effects, which can be helpful in the early game to get more damage from your mage's blessing, and also makes Janus a deceptively strong user of Soul Reaver. -Janus is not a great user of Spear of the Magus. The only way to get the spear bonus damage to apply to your unstable vortex's primary damage is to hit the enemy with a portal first, as the primary unstable vortex damage is always the first thing that hits, even with your passive and threshold. -While *you* are CC immune, you won't fall through your own ground portal. Don't try to use beads and then portal yourself into the ground, it won't work. -Janus ultimate cannot damage enemy gods while they're inside the fountain, don't try to snipe people in their base, it won't do any damage.
When you hit level 20 you're usually around your 4th or 5th item. Extra gold can still get your 6th item and replace your boots with another item and power pots. If you are gaining gold quicker than the enemy you're going to have an advantage to win the game and if you stop farming completely their team will get back ahead again.
Unrelated but shout out to those junglers that spam warriors in the jungle. Because of you their base damages and scaling get nerfed so hard that they are pretty much useless, and now I go against mages every fucking game. So thanks for that.
@@melvindoo643 because the order is 4, then 2, then 3, then 1. But you cannot max 4 until level 20, it's just your top priority every time it's available to put a point in. So what actually ends up the maxing order is 2 3 1 4.
Check carefully when he backs, before he backs he always clears minion wave. He doesn't lose that much farm and getting t2 items early helps him outbox the enemy

I'd guess so... but I'm not shure... tho 60 flat dmg extra seems kinda weak 60% extra scaling seems kinda (to) strong...

@ They did specifically change that a while back, they changed some global ultimates to not affects gods in the fountain (Nu Wa's ult, for example)
