Great Video. That is a good kit . We must be prepared , out here in the brush country of south Texas , it takes 20 minuets or more for help to arrive. You better be prepared. I have a first aide kit in each of my vehicles and an advanced kit in the house. A fire extinguisher is my next purchase for the vehicles as well.

WOW! As a retired nurse, I have to say thst kit is impressive. A ring cutter?Excellent addition. Sometimes lotion or soap don't work.
One thing that I would add is a tape measure. If you have a body part that is swollen, you need a way to tell if it gets worse. For example, you have someone with a possible broken hip, there could be nleeding into the thigh. Find an area mid-way between the hip and the knee. Wrap the tape measure around it, and with a Sharpie , mark a couple of lines on each side of the tape measure. This way, you will know that you are measuring the same area each time. Then, write down the information.
The same with arms, lower legs and wrists.

This is a great medical care kit
I bought two of these from your video introducing them earlier this month. My husband said it was the best thing I’ve ever bought him!
Comprehensive first aid kits are essential for always being prepared for any situation, but you only can get a certain number of a supply in the kit. I'm talking about things like the severe bleeding bandage , you only get one,then after it has been used, you have to reorder it. I suggest that you add uns cented feminine sanitary napkins to your kit. No more room in the kit, just strap them to the side of the original kit in another small first aid kit and be doubly prepared. I have personal experience with using them as blood flow stoppage pads on a friend of mine mine who had been injured while using a chain saw in the woods.
I've used those big OB pads from Post Partum, as well as tampons, when I worked in ICU. The hospital would not order but one size tampon for stock, so we alternated buying a box of different sizes every month as needed (and we always had them available for our personal use).

Great video I would recommend opening the CAT 5 tourniquet and stage it so you will save you time applying it.

I see we are missing a few items that we'll need to get.
I knew someone who had to have their ring cut off in an emergency and had to go to the ER. Having that ring cutter could save someone's life.
@@j.l.emerson592You can also use a piece of dental floss to get a ring off.
Wrap it very tightly around the affected finger to compress tissue. You can then, hopefully, slide the ring down a little bit and start to unwind the floss from the opposite end. Doesn’t work every time but is worth a shot if you do not have a ring cutter.

Definitely 😊 The ring cutter is for cutting rings (like a wedding ring) off from a person's finger. Like if it's swollen or injured, or caught on something. It's designed to safely slide in and cut the ring without harming the finger.

🚑 Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen anything for help with venomous bites/strikes, like snakes, scorpions, etc. Would come in handy for hikers or those caught in natural disasters which would bring you in contact with things you normally wouldn't (i.e. Hurricane Katrina, etc.)?
Speaking of water, what would be the best way to keep these waterproof? Is there a specific plastic bag you'd recommend to keep these in? You may have already covered these, but I'm still working my way through your videos. 😊 Thanks!
