I don't know if i'ts possible but a game where each button and pedal could say "cue/reserve" a specific step, in quantized mode, to be replaced would be a very cool feature. Think about it! :) Maybe go a step further and enable reverse for each step that's being replaced. Or in this hypothetical "cue/reserve" mode you would have the ability to step on two or more switches at a time thus both steps would be replaced with the same audio. I just got an EDP but am staying tuned on this thing for sure!
Nice, just 2 drawbacks to note, not specific to this exciting 'Force Dry' mode: a very old-fashioned screen and no clock sync input (+ no MIDI in/out/thru) so it's not that easy to integrate the Loupé on all setups. But the concept & controls available are refreshing anyway.
The lack of midi IO was addressed in a Facebook post by Glou Glou. Short answer: it's a one-man team and totally impractical to implement without making compromises on fidelity or internal audio stability
in "force dry" what effect does the overdub function have if it is not recorded new input source material? will it just be whatever the readfx is set to *if* the readfx is enabled?
Game is for selecting a preset (50 factory/50 user). Scroll lets you shift the playbook loop window back and forth in the memory in steps of 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 times the loop size. You can record scrolls using multiply as shown at 10:58
@@glou-glou yup, a looong and winded marketing video showing a hand pressing buttons.. i don't quite understand the features yet so looking forward to see that manual then. thanks!
This sounds like it would really be useful for film soundtracks and soundscapes
Finally , the elektron octatrack has got a strong competitor now !

Maybe it’s because I’m tired, but I find the description difficult to comprehend and the audio calming and sleep inducing. 🙏 Interesting, cool stuff!
Can’t wait to see more! Would love to try one of these!
Wow, now I really want one. That was awesome!
Stereo Oberheim EDP in a pedal plus some new features!

@@glou-glou do you plan to release a proper manual or keep bombarding our heads with marketing videos and features lists? Thanks
@@pangea2003 considering a 27 min video as marketing !? the manual is the reason why it's not already released ! it takes time :)
