Hi Nikki 🌷 Yes, my Mom does the same thing lol. For instance, back in 2005, I saved up enough money to buy her a Dooney & Bourke, all leather bag because it was something she wanted at the time...to this day, she still hasn't used it! 😆
Edit: Forgot to mention that it's still in her closet, in its dust bag. A year ago I asked her if she's used it yet and we both know what the answer was. So I stopped asking about it, knowing how long it's been and that me trying to explain to her that I bought it so she could carry it, not to be kept in a dark closet, went nowhere. LOL
Hi hun! 😍 I did the same thing. I drove to San Francisco to pick up a Louis Vuitton speedy for my step mom. This would have been her first one ever, but when I got it for her she didn’t seem to really value it so it kind of broke my heart. 💔 I should ask her for it. Maybe she will give it back to me. Haha 😂

I bought my dad a really nice North Face jacket one year because he walks alot and this had different pockets, is waterproof etc. That was over 5 years ago and to this day he has not worn it even though he was so happy when i gave it to him (because he would never spend that kind of money on something like a jacket) Instead he still goes out walking everyday in some old flannel he got from a garage sale. 😂. Sorry to hear about your tax situation..if it makes you feel any better i had to pay in too and I claimed zero at both jobs and only have myself/my income. Nothing more defeating than working a 2nd job to try and get ahead only to have it ding you come tax time. I was upset for several days but then I had to remind myself that realistically I'm very blessed. I think of people overseas who are dealing with war and poverty... had to remind myself to just be thankful and sent off the check and moved along. 😊
Haha my dad did that too. When I was younger I bought my dad a blazer and it was an expensive one since I didn’t make a lot … he never told me why, but my step mom would tell me that it’s because his favorite kid bought it for him so he doesn’t want to ruin it. 🥲

Hi! 🥰 I think we all do that sometimes. We try to cherish the nice things, but we end up wasting it. I was watching a reel and someone kept all their Jordans and when they finally opened it … it deteriorated 😔 so sad because he had a lot of Jordans.
