The area around the train station and the inner city on the way to the Altstadt is not very welcoming. But once you've reached the other side of the Lahn and the Lahninsel (Lahn island), in the best case across the Alte Lahnbrücke (old Lahn bridge) from the 13th century (which is idyllic) next to the pleasant sound of the on-rushing river water going downwards, you'll discover a fabulous old town with loads of very old frame houses which are hundreds of years old, many of them even seem to be medieval. These small alleys between these beautiful old tiny houses are a sight for sore eyes. The old town of Wetzlar is definitely worth a visit and not far away from the huge skyscraper city of Frankfurt am Main which is the exact opposite of this place! Thanks a lot for your video, it reminds me of a very pleasant day in Wetzlar.
This is a very charming city, I hope I can return to visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
You should visit Wetzlar in spring/summer. Especially the old town with many cafés, restaurants and the beautiful houses is really worth to see it. It's not really huge, but i love it. ❤️😊❤️
It's a beautiful town my mother was born and raised there her family still lives there she now resides in Georgia in the the USA we have visited Wetzlar many times I miss my family

It's a ghost town with only old people and some tourists, not enough restaurants. Nothing to really enjoy there.
I was in Wetzlar and my mom is garmen i lived there like 9 years but now im in the usa because its a lot of drama over there
