Thank you, thank you, thank you for not using packaged shredded cheese. It is so inferior to cheese you grate yourself. Besides, it only takes a few moments to gate the amount of cheese needed for this dish. Your recipe is excellent as is, but I would probably add some chopped parsley and chives to the cheese sauce and/or the breadcrumb topping.
Is it just me, or has anyone ever said you look like a younger version of Jessica Lange? I cannot wait to try this recipe. I have everything except the mustard. 😅
I made it too & my friend made it & we both had the same problem. I’m thinking if I try it again I won’t use 2 cups of milk. I’ll do 1 cups milk & 1 cup heavy cream, or all heavy cream. I’ve never made a bechamel sauce with that much milk
