Man I wish my oldest son could have been around to experience the launch of this plane. We had tons of fun with the 146. im buying this day one and will commission a livery in his honor You guys do amazing work. Thanks for helping us escape reality for a few hours a day in such horrible times.
Been watching 146s and RJs up close these past few days in California as they battle the fires. Such beautiful machines and you guys nailed the sounds on the head as always. Can’t wait to fly it!
These sounds are amazing…..u even have a coffee maker! It’s so immersive. Thank you for sharing…..you should be very proud of your efforts thus far. It’s truly a masterpiece. Day 1 buy for sure!
I CANNOT wait for this beauty! The bae 146 is already majestic, although I dont enjoy much the old school airliners, but I look forward to flying this more modern version a lot
This is outstanding.. You seem to be the champion in sounds. This is the next level.. even the movement of the throttles have its sound.. I haven't seen this level before.. wauw
your hard work and dedication to your aircraft is astonishing! well done. one plane i'd love to see a v2 of though would definitely be the piper series 😛
Some great sound work here. My only observation is that there doesn't seem to be much of the bass/low end frequencies coming through. Having watched a few cockpit videos of RJ100s, it seems like there is a bit more low end growl on start up and take off roll? Your sound set seems like it's all mids and high pitch frequencies. That said, everything else sounds great and looks wonderful.
Thanks for your feedback. Always an hard thing to balance and get absolutely right so everyone is 100% happy. For what it's worth here's some feedback in general about the sounds, direct from our sound developer on the RJ Professional: "The audio levels for the RJ (and 146) have been designed to provide an immersive experience while at the same time not overburdening the listener and allow headroom for other components (warnings, cabin announcements, electrical and hydraulic systems, etc.) to be sufficiently audible. Compared to "regular" sized turbofan engines, the (A)LF500 series engines are very small and that comes with specific traits. Most importantly though, it does not pack the punch of a CFM as found on the 737 or A320 for example and thus lacks dynamic range by nature in comparison. Last but certainly not least; be aware that the listening experience might vary greatly depending on which speakers and/or headphones are being used to listen to the audio. Note that TH-cam also applies volume compression these days depending on your "stable volume" setting. In other words, the audio in the video will yield a different experience than listening to it in the sim."
@@justflight Thanks for the detailed response. I am a live sound engineer with 25 year's experience, so I understand all the points made and am aware that I may not be getting a true impression of what can be heard in the cockpit/cabin. The point about the small engines certainly makes sense. Sadly I've not been able to experience an RJ in real life, so I am just going on experience of flying in other jets and what I can hear from watching about 4 different videos of RJ start-up sounds (the best one being from Airclips), and there is definitely more low end audible. If you have some real RJ pilots listen to your sounds and they are happy that they're realistic, then that's probably good enough for me.
Wow! I can't wait for the day this plane is released....and I can start it cold and dark.... This plane was one of my favorites in FSX and Prepar3D (QualityWings) This promises to be a true work of art! Good luck with the further development!👍👍👍
Great job so far. I would ask for more realistic engine exhaust readings such as oil temps taking time to rise and EGT that very slowly decrease when the engine is shut down.
The RJ will include GSX support including passenger boarding/deboarding similar to our 146. There will also be our own custom boaridng/deboarding simulations for users who may not own GSX.
Awesome! Thank you for adding that. Its very professional to add the features in the product without requiring another addon. I enjoy flying this plane, will be buying this!
I cant believe it this is insane. THIS IS BETTER THAN FENIX A320! I swear if dis launches and itll do, then itll be the best study level airliner ever, EVEN if bluebird releases their 757, which will never happen. Honestly guys idk how u can do that personally i cant even put a fbw cockpit into a converted a321 so yeah AMAZING AND STUNNING WORK!!!!!!!!
Excellent! But I have to beg for something: I control allot of knobs and switches through LVARs and unfortunately with the 146 and F28, animations and sounds for knobs are NOT tied to the LVAR when they are modified. As an example I can change the course 1, 2 and altitude selector on the 146 and F28 but the knobs don't move or make any sounds. So all these wonderful sounds and animations are not heard by anyone that uses home cockpit hardware.
The sounds for the 146 are on a par with these, no need for an update as far as we're concerned. The 146 received a substantial update a couple of months ago, that culminated with an even better and more immersive offering. Trust you've flown it since then?
The real world RJs were new build aircraft, they weren't modified/overhauled from previously built 146s. In comparison to the 146, the RJ has the addition of glass cockpit displays, an improved autopilot and FMS, updated engines with FADEC, and much more. All of these differences make the two aircraft very different to operate, but at the same time, they both share the underlying architecture of the 146 so there is some similarities between the two. Our goal has been to encapsulate that feeling as best we can in the simulator, so previous users of the 146 will feel right at home in the RJ and will be able to take full advantage of the improvements that the RJ brought over the 146, just as the real world pilots have.
I find the sounds of both the 146 and the f28 too "hissy". I don't like screechy high notes in my sound packs, so that's just me. But, that's the reason I don't have these guys installed. Sounds can be a show stopper.
As soon as it is ready. We hoped it would be out earlier this month, didn't happen due to delays but we hope within the next week or two now. Fingers crossed and thanks for your patience.
When I started watching I was thinking... should I get this? I'm more into GA and if I do something I want to do it right, so as far as airliners go I'm only flying the a320 Fam as that's what I know in and out. I don't want a plane that I fly a few times and then forget in my hangar or so, I want one, maybe two aircraft. Then I saw the Cockpit shot and the decision to buy was made😅
Is it possible to customize the GPU so that it is not visible and audible? A lot of airports just have a cable that they connect to the aircraft instead of a mobile unit.
There are no plans at the moment to add the UNS-1 into the RJ. That's not to say we'll never add the UNS-1 to the RJ, but at the moment we're focusing all of our efforts on making sure the GNLU-910A is fully integrated. As well as the tutorial flight in the RJ Professional manual, we will also be supplying a dedicated tutorial flight for the GNLU-910A in the dedicated FMS manual. We will also be producing a tutorial flight series for the RJ that will cover the basic of the GNLU-910A to help get everyone up to speed.
Not the same sounds no. They are of course very similar to the 146, like the real aircraft, but they are not just a copy of that. This is a 'proper' RJ sound set. Hope that helps.
In two minds about this. I have the 146 and it's fantastic. This really doesn't seem especially different enough to me, to warrant purchase. Time will tell leading up to release, but so far it's probably a no from me.
We are still waiting to get final bits fully coded and tested. Complexities of software development especially in flight simulation. Sorry for the extended delay, we hope to be there fairly soon.
As much as I'm looking forward to this plane, it's a bit sad to hear that the sounds are still the weakest part here, same as it was in BAe-146 (granted it is basicly the same plane, so the sounds are expected to be very similar). The soundset is still sounding extremly compressed without any dynamic range. Everythings just blends together into a mushy noise carpet. JustFlight, please have a listen to other addons and add more dynamic range to this soundset. That would immediately elevate this to a new level. For example, when turn on the APU gen, that has to be loudest switch in the world there. And also both the engine start don't have much if any dynamic range. The sound itself changes of course, but the loudness just stays more or less the same. Also very noticable during takeoff. The engines don't get any louder, just different.
Thanks for your feedback. Always an hard thing to balance and get absolutely right so everyone is 100% happy. Here's a few comments from our sound developer regarding your feedback. Hope this helps. "The audio levels for the RJ (and 146) have been designed to provide an immersive experience while at the same time not overburdening the listener and allow headroom for other components (warnings, cabin announcements, electrical and hydraulic systems, etc.) to be sufficiently audible.

@@justflight Thank you very much for your response. And the advise about TH-cam was spot on here, I did not know about this setting and had it activated, which caused the sound compression in this video. I now disabled that setting and it made the sounds much better and more in line with how I expectd it to sound. Good job there and sorry for my mistake. Really looking forward to flying the plane soon :)

Will there be any diffrence to how much fuel the plane could carry compared to the bae?
Sounds truly amazing- cant wait, but why is there no heat effect behind the engines ?
Thanks. There is heat effect. It's implemented and we can see it on the video. Maybe not the best camera angle to see it but it's there, rest assured.
Will this release before MSFS2024? I CANT WAIT :)

The F-28 sounds of Justflight are unmatched. Never heard anything remote close. Fenix could learn a lot in that regard. Their sounds are afwul
