I love an old R1 but the crossplane r1 will always have my heart. I couldn’t afford the r1 so i got the next best thing, MT10.
My mate had a crossplane r1 and sold it for the mt10, the r1 is amazing but not very ridable in everyday life.

This dude definitely knows how to ride a bike, regardless of what people think of the wheelie machine if you've spent any amount of time around a motorcycle you know when someone is a beast, from the clutch up to the gear changes etc.. he's a beast no doubt
You can tell he knows how to ride by how he’s in a wheelie and pulls the clutch in and revs the guts out of it and goes back onto the throttle without going back too far or dropping the front back down.
He owns the machine jackleg, u can’t wheelie an R1 standing with 1 arm up, basically impossible

First person I've seen on that machine that actually has some riding skills. That man has been on a bike his whole life. Hell I was expecting him to bring the wheelie down into an endo(stoppie). Probably would have if he was on the street.

@@louisscudamore3071 the way I see it is the majority of the people that are talking so much crap, they've obviously never even been on a bike themselves. I started off with a Katana 600 then over the years owned a GSXR 600, 750, R1, CBR954RR, & a Ducati 998. I don't claim to be or even consider myself to be a great rider, but I have been around a few and I know what it looks like. That boy has spent a significant portion of his life on 2 wheels. All these people typing anything different probably don't know how to ride a bicycle. That's all I'm saying.

@@team3gaming749 there is no way to answer that question. It depends on so many variables. An individual's athleticism, strength, understanding of physics, fears, competitiveness and a million other factors would determine that. I've rode for 20 years and I still don't ride like that, but to be fair I don't want to either. Other people hate just riding and want to be doing tricks. Some work hard to learn and others are just naturals. You should know pretty soon which you are.

I learned my lesson doing wheelies I had just started learning and went vertical and used too much rear brakes and couldn’t throttle on fast enough to catch the front end from slamming and my front headlight assembly and fairings just exploded on impact lol.
Best bike I still have my 2006 Yamaha R1 and I love it and am not going to sell it

Be nice to have this thing just to practice wheelies but it also makes it a lot easier to wheelie bc of the spring loaded board you can push off of.

The machine doesn't teach everything. It's basically a good way of learning how to clutch up and find the balance point of your bike with out flipping it over. They aren't great for everything but a really good place to start.
