You could substitute the basil for spinach, still gives you a nice leafy texture without the strong taste that overpowers everything, or just take the leaves out before you take a bite so it would still have a hint of basil but not overwhelming

I tried this out but I used fresh spinach instead of all that basis and I also made a vegetarian version with all sorts of veggies and both pizza breads were awesome.

I think it all depends on your love of basil. I myself love basil so I'd probably find having that much glorious haha. But this did look like a good one all together.
