I've been a Home Free fan for years. Tonight I've been watching voice coaches reactions to Home Free videos and I'm glad to see all good reactions. But I'm compelled to comment to you, Ms. Simone. I believe, just like you, that when a family member passes away that we'll see them again in heaven. It's bitter sweet. Sad that they're not here with us and while we're here we miss them...BUT knowing they're in heaven in God's arms. Waiting on us to be reunited can bring comfort. Thank God for these boys!! I'd like to say he placed this video for you to see and hear in memory of your aunt. I'm sorry for your loss....but there will be a day you'll see her again.
My grandma died last year to a terrible case of Parkinson’s disease and dementia. She was tortured by the things that her mind showed her. The one Constant in her day to day life was her faith in God. Sometimes her visions were so bad she couldn’t see or hear anything that was real and all she could do was pray. So this song has been a great comfort in that it says that your loved ones cane finally take their peace and be with their God. She is now in heaven rejoicing and shouting her joy. She is no longer in torment from her disease. Thank you for reacting to this song.

This was her absolute favorite song (by the original artist/songwriter Vince Gill, who wrote this for his brother). The day she passed, we listened to it over and over. It was that day my papaw told us why it was her favorite song-my dad, their son, was in the military. When we moved overseas, she was convinced she’d never see him again and she’d listen to this song over and over. Thankfully, my dad is alive to this day. Every time we’d leave, though, she’d be afraid it was the last time. When she got to the final days of her time here on earth, the military flew my parents and brother home from Germany (I drove from Georgia to Kentucky). We were able to spend some time with her before Jesus and her brothers came for her (she was talking to them as she left, arguing over who’d walk in the middle).
