    This is what I need in pipe fitting. I worked with pipe welders and fitters with no job experience sometimes they expected me to pick it up overnight lol.

      1 degree = circumference of the pipe divided by 360. 45 degree= circumference divided by 360 x 45. suppose you want to turn the elbow 30 degrees, pipe circumference divide by 360 x 30, then mark it on the elbow or pipe as shown. remember one thing. if you want to turn the elbow left, the marking shall be in the right direction.,

      @@technicalstudies. thanks! Suppose we are rolling an 4" elbow by 60 degrees. 1. Need to find circumference which is 114.3 x 3.14 = 358.9 mm. 2. 360/60 = 6. 3. 358.9/6 = 59,8 mm. So I need to measure from zero around 60 mm and I will get 60 degrees? Thanks

      @@АдиКабиев 358.9/360= 0.997. 60 degree= .997 x 60 = 59.6mm. Yes you are right.👍

    Can you use an angle finder or is this method better?

    • @technicalstudies.
      @technicalstudies.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both are the same Bro. In my experience, I didn't see many people using angle finder.

      Bro, 1 degree length is = circumference / 360 . assume 1 degree = 5mm, then 30 degree is = 30 x 5 = 150mm. Hope you understand. Thank you for your question.

      Bro, my experience in 653 is limited and I think 580 is about risk assessment, totally no idea. Sorry.
