I spent about a year and a half at this base from 1956 until starting college in 1958. It was active for training Signal Corps personnel but quite small in terms of personnel. Everything you’ve shown looks familiar. Thanks for tour.
I heard of this army base, my first viewing. Totally awesome 😎. Was not sure if a work able army base or training. Overall nice set up. Cheers 🥂 thanks for showing
My dad retired from Fort Huachuca : U.S. Strategic Command: STRATCOM , that patched used to be painted on the Huachuca mountain on post. No matter where you were on post you could see that patch.
I was stationed there with HHC USAEPG Avn Br 74-76 when we had OV-1 Mohawks. A lot of changes but still some of the things I remember. I was an E-5 and had govt. leased housing downtown as housing was tight on post. There is a monument to the flight crews and the Mohawk at the airfield. Drones replaced the Mohawk. A large drone pilot training center there now. In the basement of Greeley Hall is a backup comm. center for the Pentagon. Well I guess it is still there. Take care.
@@ericatchley3482 wow! Were you there when the McDonald’s in Sierra vista starting the drive thru? Apparently, that McDonald’s is the first one in the country to have a drive thru!
@@Polina-K I really dont remember lol,it was a long time ago. I dont even remember the McDonald's. I worked alot, the army didnt seem to want me to do much else hahahahahaha. I lived it there though.
I lived in Sierra Vista in 1973, my mom's boyfriend at the time was stationed here at Fort Huachuca such great memories.

Running at Huachuca is pure hell
5,000 ft of elevation in the desert… it’s no joke!!
Not in the twilight hours.
i was stationed at fort huachuca in the early 90"s 11th signal brigade
You almost drove past the old military police station.... then cut out... this is so cool to see this current day though.
Sorry about that! Glad you liked it! It’s a wonderful base with some very interesting historical buildings and places
@@Polina-K I was an army MP there from 2003-2006. The old MP station was on the corner of Christy and Boyd avenue.
About to go here for my AIT school as a 35 Tango starting around February 2025. I'll come back and comment on how my AIT was after i graduate.

I was there in 1974 STRATCOM
Thanks for your service🫡
My training was here.
The guard turkeys are undefeated.😅
going through retraining for AF right now, might end up here
Cool, good luck! We liked the area
Ask where they store the uaps.
That road is NOT HWY 92; it is HWY 90 from I-10 to Sierra Vista.
That place houses uaps underground
Sierra Vista holds a UFO conference once every few years! I would’ve liked to check it out this past year but didn’t make it🤔
@@Polina-K that has nothing to do with the underground storage of uaps there.
Oh lord, one of those.......
Tell me, where on post do they store those underground?
Where da PX, commissary and class six?
Army brat there 1969-1960 between our two tours of Germany. Yes…it snows a bit in the winter….brr
I was sacrificed there in 99
operational security isn't a thing I guess
