- "Shadow World" is the opening theme for Persona 4 Golden. It is composed and arranged by Shoji Meguro, sung by Shihoko Hirata.
(The bitrate destroys itself in the beginning at 1:00 when all the colors are moving around making that part blurry (it's like this in the original Atlus upload of the intro too, it's a TH-cam compression bitrate issue, sorry!) • Why Snow and Confetti ... good video covering that topic here
I made this because when I first played this on the PS Vita, I couldn't really understand the lyrics, once I read the lyrics online I was 100% able understand them.
I also thought the PS2 and anime intro were really cool and I missed out on them while playing Golden, didn't know of them til after beating it. Now golden is released on steam which is nice, not sure if the PS2 intro is in it at all, but would be cool. - เกม

They made it perfectly loop with their opening, those ingenious bastards.
True, I cannot deny that..... however, after watching it so many times, I think we can make it better by fusion rather than loops
We start it off simple, use the last one he used up till the shadow characters are finished....we then throw in a Igor scene along with all the darker scenes they put had
Next we smooth into the second verse and do a character reveal, this will be the third one he used BUT slowed down just a bit in the name reveal, cause we're going to be putting them dancing in the corner of it, but we gonna make sure that Teddie is the last and Yu stays a mystery..... simply so we can expand the dancing in the corner so we go into his "head"
We then just throw in all the Happy go lucky scenes that includes just them and right when the lyrics end we have a rewind of the diamond to use the last part as just the side characters
Last but not least, we throw in the Yu reveal at the end (him dancing in the corner too) and finish it off with him throwing up his glasses and showing the shows name
Take a bit of time and lots of editing but I think if done right this could be just as smooth and even better
P.S. Don't say anything about me doing this myself, for one I have none of the equipment/programs I need for it let alone no idea of how to even do it......... Like I said in the beginning, a little cool idea for fusion instead of just looping

Honestly, the "hanging bodies" looked like they were people who were merely breakdancing in the air or something. You went from the Investigation Team dancing and then go to the still images of those bodies, you think they're dancing too, until you realize they aren't.
After JoJo I just assumed the poses are poses so no further thinking was needed

Persona 5 was my first persona game into the series, and I held it in high regard as I thought it improved on many of the parts that old games didn’t have necessarily. But now that I have watched a play through of P4G, (as I don’t have a PS Vita) I feel like this game is better than P5 in terms of characters. Yes the P5 gang is unique in their own way, but I feel like P4 is better, mainly because of their dungeons and social links. The dungeon introduces you to their struggles, and the social links help define that character more, and helps you get more acquainted to them. I may not have played it, but P4 will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you P4.
Edit: So people can shut up about it I'm poor! I get that it's on PC but I haven't the money to buy it nor the computer to run the game. I appreciate you all but seriously, stop.

I love how in persona the original opening always reflects the game and is kind of serious, then the updated release the opening is always cheerful like it knows you're back to spend more time with the characters, even though you know what's going to happen

Persona 4: The happiest game about finding a serial killer
The more I watch and adore this opening, the more I get myself caught on Rise's dancing. Like, gurl, you're a fucking idol, and you're telling me the best you got is the most basic and goto dance of everyone who doesn't know how? I mean the others aren't doing much better, but you have genuine practice. Out of EVERYTHING that happens in the story, that is the thing I question the most.
She probably has the worst dancing in the P4D intro, too.

What's funny about Naoto is that, before playing the game, I thought she was a girl because of the voice.
Then I started playing, got to the part where Kanji shows up talking with Naoto and thought "oh, it's a boy? My bad, I forget some anime boys just have low-pitched voices" (I never suspected she was just pretending)
Then I got to Naoto's dungeon, got the reveal that she is actually a girl and, by then, my brain became milkshake

Persona 4 was a masterpiece, dude! Literally the most darkest game I've ever played despite the humour. Really loved the game's story and soundtrack. Especially, the characters and the combat. Definitely a huge improvement over P3. And, I like this game better than P5 by all aspects.

I was casually listening to this getting off the bus for school, and the tears started coming. I just finished this game for the first time a couple weeks ago and have been listening to the soundtrack since. Idk what I'm saying but this game is beautiful and very nostalgic for me already lol. It's weird how it wasn't triggered by the lyrics but simply the sound of the song that made emotions come out. Pretty nice
