Truly spoke words of wisdom. I would love to hear some of what he said, be spoken by Kamala. He put the perspective of what we are going through, in terms that were not denigrating towards anyone.
I would disagree with Noah with regard to the international view of Trump. I was working in Europe and Australia during Trump’s last term in office and he was universally despised by the vast majority of people that I worked with in both Europe and Oz. I’ve just been back to Europe earlier this year and he is even more despised now and people cannot understand how anyone would even consider voting for such a candidate.
And all of those clowns are getting their news from liberal media so there you go.
Only twoo countries had a positive view of Trump- Rassia, and Israel. Every other counrries despised Trump.

He's right.
Trevor Noah has this exceptional ability to observe and understand things at a deep, fundamental level and break them down to clear, easy to understand takes that the average people can very comfortably relate to. If you don't understand something, just have Trevor explain it to you and you'll get it almost instantaneously. I prefer this serious, intellectual side of him , than the comedic late night show host personality he did as a profession. Not that he's not good with his comedic side, he's hands down one of the top 5 comedians imo, but it's just so rare to see this level of intellectual clarity and understanding of whats happening around the world that I can forego his standups and late shows hosting if it meant having him solely talking about the world, the politics, the sciences, the arts, cultures, the experiences, about almost anything really.
I never watched the Daily Show until Trevor hosted during COVID and listened to him on the regular. Love his commentary and personality!
Trevor actually got me through covid. He was the only person who could make me smile or laugh.

I am a huge fan of The View, and I loved your interview yesterday with Kamala. Two criticisms I have about today’s show are, please Joy, the couching is super distracting and also you should never defend yourself to the weird one, you all are brilliant and he was actually talking about himself.

Well if you only started tuning into debates during the tRump era then I could see the confusion. There was once upon a time when candidates brought facts, policies, plans, and knowledge to the debate. Now you have one side that just brings talking points, misinformation, disinformation, alternate facts, and gish-galloping to the debates and tries to win by talking confidently and clearly.
And then you have the other side thats still playing by the old rule book. But they're getting better and VP Harris's takedown on tRump a few weeks ago was *_glorious_* 😊

1000% agree about the bizarre U.S. tradition of candidate debates. How in the world does this help the voter determine which one is more likely to be able to do well on the job? When so many Americans don't even really know what the job is? How government works? How foreign policy works? I feel like debates are just one more reality TV uselessness. So, I do not watch debates. Just look up the resume of each candidate, the voting record of each candidate, and the specific plans this candidate is going to follow. Then, see what actual non-partisan experts in economics, international affairs, and American government say about those plans. This performative stuff seems useless to me.
