When I feel “Alone” your “Letter” helps me to “Face-Off” my insecurities and I can say “Set Me Free” 🦋 I Absolutely Love this EP. Jimin’s voice, tone, lyrics and theme are Immaculate.

Jimin work really got the deserved appreciation and achievements. Some people or fandoms can't withstand it and always trying to belittle all his records with face. That one fandom that lives for ytube views always says that he didn't got much views here and that's why it's a flop😂 their fav got ytube views but jimin got iTunes records, billboard no1,still charting in global top 50 spotify and much more. Wish people stop their forced lame arguments to belittle bts and members.
through the powerful lyrics and the beautiful choreography of this song SET ME FREE, I think Jimin "also and subtly" sends a message to haters and all those who hinder him in his personal and professional development. And in the end, who is left standing and white as an angel? who is the winner anyway? our Jimin🐥❤️ symbolically it's very deep and very strong.

In BTS, jimin's and RM style of music and artistry has always been my favourite kind of songs to listen to. The fact that the songs actually do show an emotional arc when you finish the album is so convincing of how amazing of an artist Jimin is. His emotional intelligence also is a major contributor to why people can actually relate to the songs he sings and his voice is a cherry on top of his musical abilities. There's a reason why k-media has Jimin named the face of k-pop. His versatility and his performance are enough to draw you in . His appearance, his values , his pure kind hardworking nature comes in second. Face has been my favourite album release this year and then comes indigo. People may call me biased but this is the kind of music I'm used to and that I genuinely enjoy rather than stream because it's BTS. Like crazy, wildflower, closer,and jhope's part on his song with j-cole are probably my favourite things to listen to and I can genuinely do it everyday. Amydgala and the astronaut come in next. Seven is an amazing song but not just something i listen to , it's kinda very monotonous for me but I'm super excited for what Jk and V will bring in their respective albums.

I expected a lot from him but I would listen to anything because I really love his voice, but honestly this album exceeded my expectations, it was so far beyond. After a few litsens I was blown away, like crazy playing 24/7 in my mind even now, learning the whole smfpt2 choreo, and alone is definitely my fav in the album. I haven't heard sad and relatable songs coming out for a while and alone is so beautiful, always feels like my best friend when im down. Face off is also a perfect introduction. Overall this album went beyond my expectations and really, jimin became my ult bias. Park jimin my biggest icon, true real artist
I’m still jaw on the floor coping with the breathtaking achievements of our members solo debuts. They are all so unbelievable good. Face is so tight, absolutely glorious.. if it were a “western” product it would still be getting trumpeted from the rooftops. And as always, our guys creations simultaneously speak both to the personal and larger social experience. There is something very overtly.. militaristic.. about Set Me Free. It’s especially evident in the choreo, monstrous manic push ups and grid-like depersonalized formations, pulsing in and out with him at the center, like a weapon looming, waiting to discharge, an unsated violence with an unseen architect, threatening to engulf him. I’ll leave it there.
Wonderful analysis. Jimin has since BTS’s debut been amazing. His vocals dance and presence is outstanding. For someone who never trained to sing ; to work hard and deliver powerhouse vocals is amazing. Face is a great album
You are exactly right. In Suchwita, JM talks about how he appreciates what people love about him, but he still searches for what he is lacking and not to be objective about it. He is talented and very artistic but remains humble and stays true to himself. He is so aspirational.
And what I love about him is that every time someone compliments him, he always makes weird noise and joke about it like the one in Vogue NY when Pdog complimented him. He is just a pure soul.
Jimin poured his heart and soul out for this album just to receive nothing but MISTREATMENT on every platform!!! Even from armys who ignored this masterpiece. It's depressing to see people ignoring good songs. He didn't receive any hype for what this masterpiece deserved . Stream Face album!!!!!!
We really need to acknowledge the whole sabotage he faced after releasing this album and yet he made history. He made history with concept album and without his own music. I couldn't be more proud.

I also wanted to believe that their company treat them equally but when I heard jimin saying that he was learned all by himself by watching JK and Taehyung while having vocal workshop😢😢😢can you imagine how he feels during those times?he even said that he needs to asked the company to let him just watch them then he practice on his own 😢😢😢 But despite all these Jimin still able to prove himself due to his hardwork and perseverance and I love and admire him even more because of that.
jimin definitely deserved so much better when it came to this album!! but the fact that it accomplished so much organically just shows the star power that he possesses!! and the album being so beloved and praised for its versatility also showcases how pop music today NEEDS someone like him!! another great video!! 💜 edit: i want to clear up that by me thinking this album deserved better does not mean that i think jimin got no push or was purposely sabotaged by bighit!! jimin obviously got lots of promo and support but my point of concern was more over what happened with billboard and like crazy.
Moreover Jimin did all of this without any high profile collab, most of his songs are in Korean without any English lyrics, he didn't even work with any famous Producers just PDogg and his other long time friends, the power Jimin holds is INSANE😎👏

I haven't had time to watch Jimin's promotions in general since my schedule was hectic at that time, so I don't know if he mentioned anything about it, but previously when they all talked in Korean show during pandemic (I don't remember if it was SBS 8 News or KBS News9 where they said it) they also all mentioned that neither of them are mistreated by bighit and that members are involved in all decisions (I believe back then there was a speculation that some members get more lines than others and that it's BigHit fault while they said they decided who is singing which part). The same happened about J-Hope not having a physical album and J-Hope stating he wanted it to be that way and now he will release a physical album because fan's wanted it (said in Suchwita episode). A label would not mistreat their money making machines with not giving enough promotions. They are more likely to overwork them since money is what any business is after.
@@boopyournose5698 oh yeah i don’t think they mistreated any of them! i do think solos try to spin it into that so that it can encourage ppl to support said member leaving, which is their goal. but in the case of jimin, when i say that there’s inconsistencies in how things were handled i’m referring to what happened with like crazy after it topped the charts. aside from billboard sabotaging that song, i do feel like bighit dropped the ball in pushing that song even after all that cuz it was clear that it was an organic hit. it’s a song that definitely could have soared much higher! but as far the album promotions went before then, jimin did do a bunch of appearances and released content for his album so i’m not saying there was a lack of marketing or anything like that.
Jimin's music truly transcends. He accomplished and delivered so much in this extended play, "FACE." And I can't help but mention that Jimin slayed through all the sabotages he faced and with only nine days of promotion - and without payola too!
Most pop songs tend to be forgotten easily because as easy as they are to listen to, they are also replaced by other sounds, I've noticed this in BTS's music that each of their discography be it solo or group is so unique that it morphs and develops much like a butterfly, almost like the aging of fine wine. When you listen to it first, it's different and when you come back after a long time it's not only coming back home but also making you realize the change in you as you listen to those songs. Jimin's Face is also like that. When I first heard it, it attracted me for its catchiness and the newness Jimin presented and now after months of release, it's like the songs force me to listen to my own self, as if I am looking in the mirror. Jimin was incredible for his solo as a performer, as a singer, as a composer, his whole aura his sincere writing about his struggles, it was like he universalized what he felt and somehow also gave it a very golden very Jimin touch. There's something about his style and art I can't quite place a finger on but Jimin is a powerhouse quite complicated to explain. Like a wild card. Each of the solos so different yet unique grows on you as if ivy caging you in. Once again an incredible analysis, you always give me new things to learn and think about and when I go back to BTS's music, I become a completely changed person.
u know all songs has deepness..i was listening too alone its really sad song ..its calms me ..even if i dont know lyrics. .i feel the vibe is saddest and depressive ..jimin is amazing in puttingout emotions very well..its rare really..we can clearly identify what his voice want to relocate...its anger sadness happiness funkyness sexy ness deepness ..even though u dont know the lyrics u can i predict rightaway the mood in voice only in alone jimin harmonising with his high voice to his low tone voice ...i mean alone is very creative production is used i loved it . especially melody jimin is such a genious in this album overall from album statements concept pics soft and hard versions, songs setlist order, lyrics in each songs ...anthem and poetic metaphor double meanings , musiv video deep hidden story ,all choreography story... he dont need anything..or anyone.. just his unmatchable energy and his unique voice on stage...he only need confidence to show himself fully
I'm still waiting for a live a performance of Face-off, Alone, and and the uncensored version of Set Me Free Pt. 2. I wonder if a documentary is coming at some point. Remember before his album came out they showed behind the scenes footage of him making the album? Also I have a prediction that Letter will be added to Spotify when he enlists in the military (probably won't happen, but one can hope).
When Face dropped, I was truly shocked this was Jimin’s debut album. Not that I expected less from him, he is my bias after all, but he just went above all expectations. Everything was curated beautifully with all pieces in its perfect place. Very very strong debut. I’m so incredibly proud of him. He is an artist and I can’t wait for a full length album from him.
As a storyteller in the form of music - Jimin's authentic self on how he felt during pandemic was captured here. I cannot imagine on his evolution as an artist - he will continue to surprise us - from how he thinks as a composer, how he sounds as a singer, and how he expresses himself as a dancer.
Every time I look into each member, I realize that I have no bias in this group. I cannot love just one, all of them are my biases, I love all of them, amazed by all of them, and will support all of them until the end. As a dude, having 7 amazing guys to look up to and admire is such a blessing

Listening to Like Crazy today I got upset once again at how badly the industry treated it. I sneak this song onto the music playlist at family parties to get it to reach more people. Everyone keep spreading Like Crazy and other Face tracks everywhere! Thank you for another great analysis of a masterpiece of an album.
This album is truly a masterpiece. I expected it to be good but Jimin did better, beyond my expectations. Album has literally no skip song. I love them all
Thank you for this video. I got a feeling that people don't take Jimin's solo album seriously or listen just once, don't even read lyrics and moving on. First kpop stans mock Jimin for using autotune in SMF Pt2, but he doesn't use it to cover voice cracks or singing out of tune. He use autotune to create specific narration in song. Fast forward few months later one of NCT member go solo and have song with heavy autotune and everyone praising it, calling it SOTY. Not my opinion. Later when ARMY work hard to give Jimin no.1 on BBHot100 everyone was waiting for his downfall, calling him fraudulent, payola, mass buying itp. Even one korean critic said something like this in his article. And BB does everything to make it happend. They deleted his 2nd week sales from D2C (witch was only made as official rule before Jungkook's debute - zero coincidence, am I right?). Prediction said that Jimin will be in Top10 of Hot100 at place 8th, but after BB shady tactics he fell down to 45 - called as a new "The biggest free fall in Hot100" record previously held by TS. This was another reason for kpop stans to hate on him. There are so many shady things that industry do to his debut album (Hantego deleting sales, Spotify deleting credits from songs and splitting streams, Geffen not restocking Like Crazy CD and don't make full use of English Version potential in the US, Billboard deleting sales) that everyone just brush off his album. And it's such a shame cause FACE is really great album. I'm regulary playing all BTS members solo albums on my spotify and when in case of J-Hope, RM and Suga I have one or two favourites than in Jimin's case all of his songs are in my type. I love listen to Alone on rainy day. Set Me Free Pt.2 I often listen when I leave my work, alternate with Face-Off. Like Crazy is my "mood" song. I love the melody, kind of 80s/90s sync pop beat and this brigde... Letter always make me emotional cause Jimin always show his admiration and gratitude for ARMY. Even in Interlude i'm finding something new every time i listen to it. FACE is short but very complex album. This isn't album who you listen once and forget. I hope more people dive deeper into it not only listen to title track...

Yes!! Thank you for this video. In these times of solo releases it has become difficult to celebrate and praise the members solo achievements without it being received negatively by a population of the fandom. Like if you are complimentary to one member you are offending or dissing the others. It is such a negative and inaccurate view to have because all members are amazing and we should be able to celebrate their efforts and successes together. I love FACE and still stream it daily. I was disappointed the English version of Like Crazy didn't get the radio push it should have. Why else have an English version if not to have it accessible to a broader audience? Regardless, it is an amazing EP as is all of Jimins solo work to date. He is a unique and versatile artist.
I listened to this album and got it straight away, the fact that there was a story and to understand it you had to listen in order right through. It is actually an amazing EP and it is hard to pick a favourite as they all have their place, but I love Face-off! And Jimin's Festa acoustic version of For ARMY is one of his best vocals ever. All the members are so talented it is scary!💜
It's so funny that you posted this today because just this morning I really stopped and watched and listened to the Set Me Free mv closely like it was the first time and I was kind of blown away. He really pushed himself and was vulnerable and brave and the performances were insanely good. I fell in love with it all over again. This analysis was on point. Bravo, Jimin!
Set me free pt 2 as a prerelease is so iconic… it was his first official solo song, but it’s COMPLETELY different from everything we heard from him before also, the controversy? the hate train? just to end up (at the time) the highest charting korean solo song since psy on the billboard hot 100
I love this ep soo much it really screams Jimin. EXACTLY, he is his own music genre. + how he has that unique voice makes it harder for other to try to cover/sing he's songs which I find kinda funny because they usually are great singers but they can't sing jimin songs without struggling that just makes me go aww 🥺 he really is special.

Great video! To be very honest, I did not expect his album to be so freaking good (my bad for underestimating him I guess). Face is a perfect album. I still cannot get over how catchy Like Crazy is. The album talks about his own personal thoughts and struggles while still being modern pop with "dancy" vibes. Jimin's sound is so synonymous with his personality. It is one of those albums where if you're listening to it on the surface level/for fun, it gives you that. But if you go deeper into the meaning of things, it gives you that too. Insane how this man pulled it off with his first album.

Face is one of my favorite solo projects, even though there’s only few songs, I think he showed us what he’s capable of. I love seeing them experiment with their artistry. Every song is different, innovative and full of talent. I was amazed how he wrote his lyrics from past experiences and honest emotions.💜

I was absolutely blown away on my first listen and it is an album that I play daily (along with Indigo). He really is today's pop music and PDogg nailed it when he said he was coming to end kpop.

Jimin's album is a masterpiece. He always has put out unique and interesting pieces of music even before like Lie, Serendipity which hooked me to BTS. And this album felt so personal and the lyrics, choreography and the concepts were well thought and executed. Hats off to Jimin! He never disappoints. Looking forward for his work in future!

The sad part is people believe being a (star) is a glamourous life but in reality, you are lonely and sad most of the time. We only see the glamourous side of fame but never the dark side. You wonder why so many (stars) take their own lives it's because of that dark side that you never see. Wishing Jimin much success and hope you will continue to shine bright and perfect your craft to the best of your ability.
This album was something special, the best way I could describe it was that I felt it. I felt the emotions delivered, Faceoff has you angry, like crazy has you singing and dancing, alone has you crying and set me free has you motivated. This is all without looking at the lyrics. Which highlights to me that Jimin is a true artist. He and his team created something special. It has also that flair present in BTS…music that ascends barriers. Listening to the album was like diving into Jimins mind at first, then as I listened to it more often I began to see how I could relate. Months after the album has passed I am still listening to Like Crazy.

That one fandom that lives for ytube views always says that he didn't got much views here and that's why it's a flop😂 their fav got ytube views but jimin got iTunes records, billboard no1,still charting in global top 50 spotify and much more. Wish people stop their forced lame arguments to belittle bts and members.
through the powerful lyrics and the beautiful choreography of this song SET ME FREE, I think Jimin "also and subtly" sends a message to haters and all those who hinder him in his personal and professional development. In BTS, jimin's and RM style of music and artistry has always been my favourite kind of songs to listen to. The fact that the songs actually do show an emotional arc when you finish the album is so convincing of how amazing of an artist Jimin is.
His emotional intelligence also is a major contributor to why people can actually relate to the songs he sings and his voice is a cherry on top of his musical abilities.
There's a reason why k-media has Jimin named the face of k-pop. His versatility and his performance are enough to draw you in . His appearance, his values , his pure kind hardworking nature comes in second.
Face has been my favourite album release this year and then comes indigo. People may call me biased but this is the kind of music I'm used to and that I genuinely enjoy rather than stream because it's BTS.
Like crazy, wildflower, closer,and jhope's part on his song with j-cole are probably my favourite things to listen to and I can genuinely do it everyday.
Amydgala and the astronaut come in next. Seven is an amazing song but not just something i listen to , it's kinda very monotonous for me but I'm super excited for what Jk and V will bring in their respective albums.

I expected a lot from him but I would listen to anything because I really love his voice, but honestly this album exceeded my expectations, it was so far beyond. After a few litsens I was blown away, like crazy playing 24/7 in my mind even now, learning the whole smfpt2 choreo, and alone is definitely my fav in the album. I haven't heard sad and relatable songs coming out for a while and alone is so beautiful, always feels like my best friend when im down. Face off is also a perfect introduction. Overall this album went beyond my expectations and really, jimin became my ult bias. Park jimin my biggest icon, true real artist

I’m still jaw on the floor coping with the breathtaking achievements of our members solo debuts. They are all so unbelievable good. Face is so tight, absolutely glorious.. if it were a “western” product it would still be getting trumpeted from the rooftops.
And as always, our guys creations simultaneously speak both to the personal and larger social experience.
There is something very overtly.. militaristic.. about Set Me Free. It’s especially evident in the choreo, monstrous manic push ups and grid-like depersonalized formations, pulsing in and out with him at the center, like a weapon looming, waiting to discharge, an unsated violence with an unseen architect, threatening to engulf him.

Wonderful analysis. Jimin has since BTS’s debut been amazing. His vocals dance and presence is outstanding. For someone who never trained to sing ; to work hard and deliver powerhouse vocals is amazing.

You are exactly right. In Suchwita, JM talks about how he appreciates what people love about him, but he still searches for what he is lacking and not to be objective about it. He is talented and very artistic but remains humble and stays true to himself. He is so aspirational.
And what I love about him is that every time someone compliments him, he always makes weird noise and joke about it like the one in Vogue NY when Pdog complimented him. He is just a pure soul.
Jimin poured his heart and soul out for this album just to receive nothing but MISTREATMENT on every platform!!! Even from armys who ignored this masterpiece. It's depressing to see people ignoring good songs. He didn't receive any hype for what this masterpiece deserved . Stream Face album!!!!!!

edit: i want to clear up that by me thinking this album deserved better does not mean that i think jimin got no push or was purposely sabotaged by bighit!! jimin obviously got lots of promo and support but my point of concern was more over what happened with billboard and like crazy.
Moreover Jimin did all of this without any high profile collab, most of his songs are in Korean without any English lyrics, he didn't even work with any famous Producers just PDogg and his other long time friends, the power Jimin holds is INSANE😎👏

I haven't had time to watch Jimin's promotions in general since my schedule was hectic at that time, so I don't know if he mentioned anything about it, but previously when they all talked in Korean show during pandemic (I don't remember if it was SBS 8 News or KBS News9 where they said it) they also all mentioned that neither of them are mistreated by bighit and that members are involved in all decisions (I believe back then there was a speculation that some members get more lines than others and that it's BigHit fault while they said they decided who is singing which part). The same happened about J-Hope not having a physical album and J-Hope stating he wanted it to be that way and now he will release a physical album because fan's wanted it (said in Suchwita episode).
A label would not mistreat their money making machines with not giving enough promotions. They are more likely to overwork them since money is what any business is after.
@@boopyournose5698 oh yeah i don’t think they mistreated any of them! i do think solos try to spin it into that so that it can encourage ppl to support said member leaving, which is their goal. but in the case of jimin, when i say that there’s inconsistencies in how things were handled i’m referring to what happened with like crazy after it topped the charts. aside from billboard sabotaging that song, i do feel like bighit dropped the ball in pushing that song even after all that cuz it was clear that it was an organic hit. it’s a song that definitely could have soared much higher! but as far the album promotions went before then, jimin did do a bunch of appearances and released content for his album so i’m not saying there was a lack of marketing or anything like that.
Jimin's music truly transcends. He accomplished and delivered so much in this extended play, "FACE." And I can't help but mention that Jimin slayed through all the sabotages he faced and with only nine days of promotion - and without payola too!

Most pop songs tend to be forgotten easily because as easy as they are to listen to, they are also replaced by other sounds, I've noticed this in BTS's music that each of their discography be it solo or group is so unique that it morphs and develops much like a butterfly, almost like the aging of fine wine. When you listen to it first, it's different and when you come back after a long time it's not only coming back home but also making you realize the change in you as you listen to those songs. Jimin's Face is also like that. When I first heard it, it attracted me for its catchiness and the newness Jimin presented and now after months of release, it's like the songs force me to listen to my own self, as if I am looking in the mirror. Jimin was incredible for his solo as a performer, as a singer, as a composer, his whole aura his sincere writing about his struggles, it was like he universalized what he felt and somehow also gave it a very golden very Jimin touch. There's something about his style and art I can't quite place a finger on but Jimin is a powerhouse quite complicated to explain. Like a wild card. Each of the solos so different yet unique grows on you as if ivy caging you in. Once again an incredible analysis, you always give me new things to learn and think about and when I go back to BTS's music, I become a completely changed person.

I'm still waiting for a live a performance of Face-off, Alone, and and the uncensored version of Set Me Free Pt. 2. I wonder if a documentary is coming at some point. Remember before his album came out they showed behind the scenes footage of him making the album? Also I have a prediction that Letter will be added to Spotify when he enlists in the military (probably won't happen, but one can hope).

When Face dropped, I was truly shocked this was Jimin’s debut album. Not that I expected less from him, he is my bias after all, but he just went above all expectations. Everything was curated beautifully with all pieces in its perfect place. Very very strong debut. I’m so incredibly proud of him. He is an artist and I can’t wait for a full length album from him.
As a storyteller in the form of music - Jimin's authentic self on how he felt during pandemic was captured here. I cannot imagine on his evolution as an artist - he will continue to surprise us - from how he thinks as a composer, how he sounds as a singer, and how he expresses himself as a dancer.
Every time I look into each member, I realize that I have no bias in this group. I cannot love just one, all of them are my biases, I love all of them, amazed by all of them, and will support all of them until the end. As a dude, having 7 amazing guys to look up to and admire is such a blessing

I got a feeling that people don't take Jimin's solo album seriously or listen just once, don't even read lyrics and moving on. First kpop stans mock Jimin for using autotune in SMF Pt2, but he doesn't use it to cover voice cracks or singing out of tune. He use autotune to create specific narration in song. Fast forward few months later one of NCT member go solo and have song with heavy autotune and everyone praising it, calling it SOTY. Not my opinion. Later when ARMY work hard to give Jimin no.1 on BBHot100 everyone was waiting for his downfall, calling him fraudulent, payola, mass buying itp. Even one korean critic said something like this in his article. And BB does everything to make it happend. They deleted his 2nd week sales from D2C (witch was only made as official rule before Jungkook's debute - zero coincidence, am I right?). Prediction said that Jimin will be in Top10 of Hot100 at place 8th, but after BB shady tactics he fell down to 45 - called as a new "The biggest free fall in Hot100" record previously held by TS. This was another reason for kpop stans to hate on him. There are so many shady things that industry do to his debut album (Hantego deleting sales, Spotify deleting credits from songs and splitting streams, Geffen not restocking Like Crazy CD and don't make full use of English Version potential in the US, Billboard deleting sales) that everyone just brush off his album. And it's such a shame cause FACE is really great album. I'm regulary playing all BTS members solo albums on my spotify and when in case of J-Hope, RM and Suga I have one or two favourites than in Jimin's case all of his songs are in my type. I love listen to Alone on rainy day. Set Me Free Pt.2 I often listen when I leave my work, alternate with Face-Off. Like Crazy is my "mood" song. I love the melody, kind of 80s/90s sync pop beat and this brigde... Letter always make me emotional cause Jimin always show his admiration and gratitude for ARMY. Even in Interlude i'm finding something new every time i listen to it. FACE is short but very complex album. This isn't album who you listen once and forget. I hope more people dive deeper into it not only listen to title track...

In these times of solo releases it has become difficult to celebrate and praise the members solo achievements without it being received negatively by a population of the fandom. Like if you are complimentary to one member you are offending or dissing the others. It is such a negative and inaccurate view to have because all members are amazing and we should be able to celebrate their efforts and successes together. I love FACE and still stream it daily. I was disappointed the English version of Like Crazy didn't get the radio push it should have. Why else have an English version if not to have it accessible to a broader audience? Regardless, it is an amazing EP as is all of Jimins solo work to date. He is a unique and versatile artist.
I listened to this album and got it straight away, the fact that there was a story and to understand it you had to listen in order right through. It is actually an amazing EP and it is hard to pick a favourite as they all have their place, but I love Face-off! And Jimin's Festa acoustic version of For ARMY is one of his best vocals ever. All the members are so talented it is scary!💜

It's so funny that you posted this today because just this morning I really stopped and watched and listened to the Set Me Free mv closely like it was the first time and I was kind of blown away. He really pushed himself and was vulnerable and brave and the performances were insanely good. I fell in love with it all over again. This analysis was on point. Bravo, Jimin!

Great video! To be very honest, I did not expect his album to be so freaking good (my bad for underestimating him I guess). Face is a perfect album. I still cannot get over how catchy Like Crazy is. The album talks about his own personal thoughts and struggles while still being modern pop with "dancy" vibes. Jimin's sound is so synonymous with his personality. It is one of those albums where if you're listening to it on the surface level/for fun, it gives you that. But if you go deeper into the meaning of things, it gives you that too. Insane how this man pulled it off with his first album.

The sad part is people believe being a (star) is a glamourous life but in reality, you are lonely and sad most of the time. We only see the glamourous side of fame but never the dark side. You wonder why so many (stars) take their own lives it's because of that dark side that you never see. Wishing Jimin much success and hope you will continue to shine bright and perfect your craft to the best of your ability.
This album was something special, the best way I could describe it was that I felt it. I felt the emotions delivered, Faceoff has you angry, like crazy has you singing and dancing, alone has you crying and set me free has you motivated. This is all without looking at the lyrics.
Which highlights to me that Jimin is a true artist. He and his team created something special. It has also that flair present in BTS…music that ascends barriers.
Listening to the album was like diving into Jimins mind at first, then as I listened to it more often I began to see how I could relate. Months after the album has passed I am still listening to Like Crazy.

In Suga's verse, the song tells of the difficulties BTS had in the beginning of their career, and LY Her was released at the beginning of the group's international success, particularly in America. So right now Sea is set in the ocean is finally back. Anyway, there is a certain concern in the verses of RM and Jhope that the desert may one day return. So, reconnecting to Letters, desert is back after the group's hiatus was announced. As we know, Chapter 2 was something BTS wanted to schedule years ago, so they were probably already thinking about military service while writing Sea. So, Jimin in Letters wants to remind us that every dark moment, like this one, could come back but don't forget that the pain of assessment will bring happiness in the future.
Also, both Sea and Letters are Hidden tracks because BTS wrote them personally and exclusively for Army💜.

Always love your analysis. I really enjoyed face. I especially liked that Jimin had a hand in each of the songs in his album, even if he wasn’t credited in interlude: dive. Jimin really used this album to expel his demons.
