- Jack Pilgrim and Steven Peake traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday to watch the Kentucky Wildcats take down the Volunteers.
On Saturday afternoon in Thompson-Boling Arena, the No. 15 Wildcats (23-8; 13-5 SEC) secured a double-bye in next week’s SEC Tournament by sneaking out an 85-81 win over the No. 4 Volunteers (24-7; 14-4 SEC). Despite 40 points from Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht, Kentucky was able to limit the rest of the Volunteers while Antonio Reeves and Reed Sheppard both finished with 27 points a piece. Justin Edwards also chipped in 16 points and six rebounds for the ‘Cats.

Been there twice, 1996 with the denim uni’s and a 90-50 WIN! Came back the following yr in 97 in which we squeaked out a closer than expected W.. They use to offer these deals for tickets to ride charter bus, and it was really cool as 15-16yr old kid, was like a pep rally the entire way, playing UK trivia for prizes, and put UK greatest games on the ride, as watched Mardi Gras miracle on the way as well!
