Hello Richard, very good video and great group of records, Skinty Fia, Randy Newman, cool stuff, I mainly talk rock vinyl on my channel and post a few concert clips, thanks for sharing the great music info. Peace!
I just checked out some of that Geordie Greep album. It is fabulous. I will grab a copy thanks to you Rich. I will surely try to join you at the Taphouse for each and every video~ Rob/Boston
Apparently, Morrissey and Johnny Marr might get together and do live shows and call themselves "The Smiths" this year. If they do, I definitely will go see them
Thanks, Alex- Beer & vinyl lovers UNITE! 😎👍🍻 Black Midi/Geordie are definitely up there on the ‘weird but fascinating’ list aren’t they? Looking forward to new albums from Squid, Bdrmm, and The Murder Capital in the next few months…all should be super interesting, too! Cheers-R
Hey Richard, nice selection 😊 i think I remember having seen the Geordie Greep record in some vc livestreams. Thanks for the shout-out. This Gary Newman is a must-have. Cheers
Hi FVA! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊 I’m definitely into all things Numan! Stay tuned for a ‘jazz influences’ video coming soon (hopefully!) 👍 Cheers-R
Hello Richard's Vinyl Taphouse. So cool to see Skinty Fia! That is a great album. Full Moon Fever is a must-have. Some of the others are new to me. I am looking forward to your Numan video or videos!
Hey Brian- Skinty Fia may well be my fav Fontaines DC; definitely want to a Numan video or series of…just trying to figure out the best way to do it 🤔👍 Cheers-R
It helps to live about 45 minutes away (30 miles maybe?) 🤔 There’s a really good show lineup this summer including Lucy Dacus, Lord Huron, Sheryl Crow, Sting…one of the better lineups compared to recent years! Cheers-R
Thanks a lot Richard! You just made me order Turnover. Took 1 minute listens to about our songs and I was hooked. Settled for the CD because I am running out of space. Cheers!
You'll love it, Steve - it’s a fantastic album 😎👍 I still haven’t looked into their other albums as this is the only one that’s gotten such high praise universally. Cheers-R
I love Skinty Fia. Romance is good, but a bit too polished and more commercial, I think . I agree about the cover 😊 A Gary Numan ranking would be good (including Tubeway Army) Nice video, thanks for sharing 👍
Hi Tim!! Thx for stopping by 😎 Totally agree about Romance…it’s taken me ages to get into it tbh (and that cover! Ugh!). I certainly do want to do some Numan videos- thanks for input about doing a ranking 👍 Cheers-R
Hi Richard. Skinty Fia is my favourite Fontaines DC album. I must get myself a copy of the Geordie Creep album. Like the new channel name. Cheers Mike 👍
Thanks Mike! Fontaines DC are one of the best new(er) bands in recent years, for sure. If you like Black Midi, Squid and Black Country New Road, you should really enjoy Geordie Greep…it’s VERY different but also fascinating in its complexity 😎👍 Cheers-R

From one beer and vinyl lover to the next, love the rebrand! Black midi/gordie super proggy, almost too much for me! Great stuff Richard!

I love all those bands Richard so Geordie Creep should really be in my collection.
Love Godsmack. Seen them open for Metallica about 20 years ago.
I also saw them with Metallica…it was ‘in the round’ at an arena here in Denver- not a bad seat in the house 🤘😎 Cheers-R
Nice finds and cool new name. I changed my name but then line an idiot I deleted my channel and had to start over
Oh noooo….glad you were able to rebuild!! 😲 Did you lose a ton of subscribers?
Well I had about 200 so I’m almost back to that point
