This was so helpful I was intimidated by the portfolio but hearing their honest answers changed my mind and now I feel like I can do it! Thank you!

I want to transfer to architecture school I finally decided what I wanted to do but I'm relatively late and have barely any drawing skills somehow I need to make a portfolio. Even the ones they said were bad were way better than what I can do I don't know how to improve so quickly I have about 6 months to make a portfolio. I have a good gpa but for architecture It doesn't really matter.

The best thing you could do is reach out to the quote on quote "best" univerisities in your city/country to ask them what would make a great candidate for architecture. On a micro level, try to reach out to architects on LinkedIn. Those are suggestions for you to get in touch with people that are somehow connected to the architecture industry. Good luck!!

How do we submit a portfolio? Like where do we add it? Im applying through websit of “calstate” and “universityofcalifornia” and am not sure where to add it

Some universities require you to mail it to them directly (the department you're applying to), or they use a service like Slideroom or WeTransfer where you upload and submit it through there.
