      Yea he was awful. As a Knicks fan I had the feeling he'll be on the list lol. The reason he was better last season was he was making those shots. I always thought those were horrible shots even when he was making and it'll be an issue later

    it's honestly unbelievable how Desmond Bane lead the league in above the break three-point percentage while shooting at volume and on more than just strictly catch-and-shoot. all while growing into becoming a better passer and an already above average defender. and he's doing this as a 2nd year player who was drafted 30th overall. an absolute dream scenario for the grizzlies.

      Grizzlies record was better without Ja, that is a fact, and the credit goes mainly to Bane and JJJ but more so to Desmond Bane, guy just shoots the lights out even on midrange.

      @@hepersopon4459 Nah, he just played viewer games then his father. But he is clearly a better shooter. His father had one year with a TS% over .60 (in 16 seasons). Seth, since he plays significant minutes (last 6 seasons), had one year below .60... and that was .595.

    I wouldn’t call Trae Young a pioneer of deep threes lmao. I would say he’s the result of pioneers. Steph and maybe Dame were the pioneers.

      When it comes to deep threes Tre is definitely the third player you think of after Dame and Steph.. he was actually shooting those at Oklahoma too before he came into the league.

    I'm surprised by how efficient Gobert is in the paint considering how he tends to fumble the ball. But I guess that fumbling before you put up a shot attempt doesn't count.

    I think the increase in efficiency of shots here is revaluator of the decline of defense intensity and hardness throughout the recent years, just look at thoses middies % It usually is around 48 to 50 but the restrictions in defense are shining the offense.

Russ did not have a good season for his standards but in no way did he have a bad season at all. if the name Russell Westbrook wasn't attached, nobody would be saying this was a bad year, they honestly would be saying that this was a good season (for most players in the league) he averaged 19 7 and 7 shooting 44.4% from the field, that is good and would be a career year for a majority of players in the league )
