UCR's Kindergarten Academy

Arlene Cano Matute serves as the Assistant Director of Chicano Student Programs at the University of California, Riverside while also actively pursuing a PHD in Higher Education in the Graduate School of Education at UCR.
As a student parent, she constantly preaches about the importance of higher education, especially for the Latino community.
Understanding the importance of an “educated familia” Arlene, sends her twins to UCR Early Childhood Services’ Kindergarten Academy.
