Interesting that you can tell someone's emotional and entire health by looking at their teeth. I know the chinese use the tongue to diagnose many things and stuff but to know somebody has been sexually assaulted juat like that has got to be the most intersecting thing ever. I am wondering if in such cases you offer some safe space and counseling whilst doing their teeth?
Yes, for children we look for signs both physical and emotional/psychological of abuse. Make reports and take it up to child welfare, so that they can get the counselling that they need. For adults it is similar. For children it’s a more sensitive, because as a clinician you can’t make any accusations.
Enjoy the rural life. It is a humbling life which promotes connection to nature and gives one an opportunity to know themselves.
