I have yet to watch Shawshank.. I really should. Seeing this, it looks good. I have a location for you if you every end up in North Carolina... Cheoah Dam was the location for the jump from The Fugitive. Sylva, North Carolina also has the Hospital (Harris Regional Hospital) where Harrison Ford shaved his beard and changed clothes. Around the same location, the same train wreck also occurred. Best part about all that? Apparently, he never left Illinois and the first half was filmed in NC.
@manbearpig900 I could tell, when I bought the blu-ray it was 1/2 the thickness of a normal one and was funded by a TV channel to make but the plus side was that it didn't have any shitty trailers that played before the movie.

I wasn't aware that 'Shawshank' flopped at the box office. It really shows that box office figures mean nothing to attest the quality of the film.
The film is based on a chapter in a book by Stephen King. Shawshank Redemption is Spring of Hope if I recall correctly
