When Anakin speaks with a pregnant Padme then this means parts of it have to play during Ep 3

@@bailey03 episode 3 lasts about few days not months. Padme get pregnant about 8-9 months before the episode 3 and she just didnt speak with anakin about it for some time because he was on the mission.
And she's wearing the outfit she has when she goes to Mustafar, so Anakin must be Vader at that point
Dustin Spider-Vader I’m guessing the siege of mandalore ends with the empire taking it over which would mean it runs parallel to the events but we will be standing watching a very different perspective.

Kassandra Gottke well in the Ahsoka Novel, it’s confirmed that the Seige of Mandalore happens at the same time as Order 66. So yes, it’s definitely going to overlap with Episode 3

The Siege of Mandalore, which takes place right before Order 66, is featured in this season, which leads me to think that part of the season will be interwoven into Revenge of the Sith

General Grievous and his magna guards assaulted the Chancellors office and were chasing down the chancellor and the Jedi that were protecting him. Grievous got the chancellor aboard his ship and escaped but not without Mace Windu using the force to vollapse Grievous' lungs in which we now understand how Grievous got the cough he had in RotS. If you mean that they show it through this version of the clone wars then I would be happy with that as well. Honestly order 66 would be a great stopping point for the series.

We are gonna see order 66, hence Ahsoka breaking down in space, feeling it like Yoda did and the Jedi from Fallen Order game did. Also, a small shot of a young Kanan Jarrus was in the trailer.
Its gonna be badass, but suck at the same time as with the clone wars show, we got to know not only the clones, but also more of the Jedi as well. Another order 66 sequence but harder

What I absolutely LOVE is how the "I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi" scene is included. If you notice the conference room shot is the exact shot from ROTS! I cannot wait for the Maul/Ahoska stuff!
It’s a really interesting concept that Maul seems to know of Order 66 presumably from his time under Palpatine after Savages death. It’ll make for an interesting dynamic, although I’m an interested to see just how far he goes in teasing the Jedi with it, and if Ahsoka will find out, only to be too late.
My only concern is the tension will be gone because we know not only the ending, but in detail. Maul and Ahsoka for example, will both survive their duel, because of Rebels. They’ll have to find some other way to create a tense atmosphere, perhaps showing more of the Jedi Order 66 affected past the ones we see in ROTS
Maul has known the plan since before he got cut in half. When he learns about the Clone Wars his first reaction is "It started without me"
I’m hoping we get cameo’s of Order 66 happening to Caleb and Cal.
I wonder if Maul will reveal the plan in front of Ahsoka and Rex, thus making Rex remember Fives and having him instantly removing the chip from his head as soon as it clicks.

@@dorklord1078 Obviously if he knew that he already knew the whole plan, otherwise it didn't make sense. Maul already knows that Sidious is Palpatine. In Son of Dathomir, Maul and Dooku talk about how at the end of the war all Jedi knights will die for the plan.
The voice of ObI-Wan in the Clone wars has a one man stage show, I'm not sure if you would want to check that out but that would be amazing. May the Force be with you.
It’s so crazy just how good this season is looking. The effects, lighting, and number of troops on screen look amazing.
There's not many shows that make me have goosebumps, but I have to say with pride, that this show is part of that list for me!!

I'm 100% certain all those bridge scenes are the battle of mygeeto and that we'll see ki-adi mundi kanan, depa bilaba, and maybe fenn rau in the battle of mygeeto. I think all those scenes with Maul fighting the clones and ashoka on the bridge are them escaping from order 66
Side note: it was pretty cool to see Commander Bacara and Bly in the Hologram scenes

1:13 On the right, you can see Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume on holocall. So cool to see they are bridging the show with Rebels.
I hope Jesse survives because I can see Maul using the force against him. You can also see Commander Bly and Bacara along with Mundi, Aayla Secura, Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus, Depa, and Plo Koon.

This holochat is directly from revenge of the sith. Meaning this season is taking place during episode 3. Considering Padme went from barely showing to giving birth, maybe about 6 months passed during that film.
Yeah this season could act as a greater explanation of the missed events
I read somewhere the film takes place over the course of less than a week, which I personally find ridiculous, unless Padme was pregnant for months before telling Anakin because he was away on a mission for an extended period of time (but why not simply call him? Too afraid someone might get hold of the holo and reveal their secret?), and then gave birth to Luke and Leia prematurely. Otherwise there's just no way her pregnancy can make sense within the supposed four-day timeframe of the movie.
I don’t think it’s out of the question for Disney to make another season of different arcs that took place during the last year of the clone wars but before season 7, almost like anthology arcs (even thought clone wars is basically already anthology arcs lol). Disney has finally noticed how much we live clone wars and I just don’t see them being able to only do one season... rightfully so
The chronological order is already messed up so I think it would work fine

YAS!!!! Glad you guys finally reacted to this, y’all, and those lost missions episodes were fun. Only one month to go, fam, my lightsaber and Jedi robes are ready for this year. Seeing Padmé in her Mustafar outfit and have a baby bump evident brings me Anidala feels. Anakin and Obi wan looked great in their new Jedi outfits from the movie.
Looks like Ahsoka is feeling the pain of Order 66 during that hyperspace jump.

This show started 12 years ago (counting the movie) and I've loved it for nearly half of my life. I'm going to be an emotional wreck when the final season comes out because I don't know how to say goodbye to something I've loved for so long

God the animation looked good in Episode 1
If you think of it, it’s kind of a good thing it was canceled and is coming back this much later. The animation is way more improved and epic for this finale
Yes and no animation quality is amazing now but the emotional impact just wont be the same knowing Ashoka and Maul lives :( still going to be great to watch but still wished the final season was released before rebels.

Fun little things ive fond plus a Rebel Easter Egg. If you pause at 1:13 We can See on the Bottom left we see Commander Bly who we havnt seen since Season 1, We can also See Commander Bacara in the top mid who weve never seen in Clone Wars so thats cool, but just look to the Right of Bacara, heres the Rebel Easter Egg, We can see Kanan Jarrus and his Master.
Can we talk abt Darth mauls lightsaber hilt and handle part of it is his severed lightsaber but the other part is new???
Disney is in the works of creating I believe a new animated series that's gonna show Rey and her new Jedi order but mainly be about Ben Solo's journey after the events of episode 9. I'm excited for them to start working on that so we can see them both again and see his journey as a force ghost and ofc them two together again. Also they will be making more books and comics about them and the events after the movie as well all in the next few years!!!!

Interesting Star Wars topics, you say? I suppose here's a good place to drop my theory that we could see a much younger Gideon in TCW, since his high position in the Imperial Security Bureau would seem to indicate that he was part of the Republic Military during the Clone Wars, and his referencing of the Siege of Mandalore could imply his direct involvement. It reminds me a bit of that one part of the classic Battlefront II campaign, where the clones save Kashyykk from the droids, and in the voiceover the narrator says "We left as heroes. Year's later, we'd return as conquerors." Gideon would have been a part of the battle to liberate Mandalore from Maul's clutches, and would later return to seemingly drop the hammer on Mandalorian culture and society as a whole.
This is exactly my Star Wars. I loved it and still I love it.

Loved this show and the trailer looks great! It is also cool to see some of the scenes I read about in E.K. Johnston's "Ahsoka" novel...
I'd honestly be okay if they just redid all of the Star Wars (aside from the new three) with this creative team, with this animation, and with these actors. I'm more connected to any individual character (that appears in both the movies and the show) through the show, than I am with any of them through the movies. Same way with the original movies, and the Legends books. That books brought me closer to the characters than the movies ever did.

Just pure speculation but at 2:43 in this particular video we see Ahsoka on top of the holotable with what looks like Rex on the ground. I am curious to know if that particular scene is taking place during order 66 because we also see Ahsoka at 1:55 clearly sensing a disturbance such as we saw Yoda did in RoTS along with Jaro Tapal in Fallen order. We learned that Rex removed his Chip through Rebels but we don't know when (unless we do and I'm just not aware). This is why I think 2:43 is order 66 because Ahsoka then would be defending herself from the clones and if Rex had his chip removed he would also be disobeying order 66 which I suppose would cause the 501st to turn on him? Again, pure speculation. Cant wait for Feb 21st!

Its Savage's double sided lightsaber that Maul is using , which is a freaking great touch. Depa and Kanan are also shown.
I think the scene with Ashoka going into hyperspace on the ship and breaking down might be her either feeling the loss that came with order 66 happening or she feels anakin “dying” and assumes he was another fatality in order 66.

If you all want to get an early preview of the Siege of Mandalore, get the Ashoka standalone novel. The beginning ties into that arc and shows what happens to Ashoka following Episode 3.

It’s been confirmed this show takes place at the same time as ROTS and shows order 66 but from a different angle that’s shown in the Anakin and Padme scene and the scene with Ahsoka and Rex in that room at the end
The only other Jedi at the meeting where Mace and Yoda say the ROTS lines are Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla Secura. It's right after Obi-wan makes contact with Grevious but before he kills him. I wonder whose perspective we will see it from.

For a thought on your upcoming podcast on Star Wars I have this question for you guys to discuss: If in the Star Wars Rebels episode "Twin Suns" had Maul struck down Obi-Wan would Obi-Wan have disappeared and became a Force Ghost or would he have just died as a mortal with his consciousness becoming one with the Force?
We've finally reached the point, where the events of The Clone Wars gradually merge and intersect/run in parallel with the events of the RotS. And now, this gap has finally closed.
