    Please take the video as "watch me work" type of video, i feel like i missed to film a lot of stuff concentrating on getting the job done.
    Another problem that i had was getting the parts needed for the job you will understand in part 2...

    Awesome video thank you for the effort you put into making this. Forced to change it myself out of necessity and without your video I would have stood no chance.
    Just as an aside, on a 2012 Grandtour the front bolts for the subframe can be accessed by removing the front bumper under tray, instead of removing the whole bumper. Not 💯 this applies to all mk3's, but removing the subframe does allow you to rotate and drop the gearbox out to gain full access.
    Many thanks for your hard work 👍

    How's she goin'? Wow Igor, you got yourself a big job going on here buddy!!! It's amazing all the parts and pieces that need to come off so you can get to the part that's bad. I guess that's why a clutch job costs so much. All the labor to just get to the part. And then you have to fit it all back together!!! Looking forward to part 2!!! Take care!!!

    Strong work, save you a fortune doing it yourself I am happy to do almost every job on my MK3 Megane 1.5 dCi but after watching this I'm more than happy to pay the local one-man garage (lives on the next street, £35 an hour labour). Clutch change seems like such a crazy involved job. On jack stands on the driveway it is bad enough, nevermind without the power tools you have which must save you quite a bit of time. I'm still using normal ratchets and suchlike. Slightly worrying though as mine just passed 136k and no record of a clutch/DMF, no slippage so far though...

    • @CarsExposed
      @CarsExposed  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cheers pal definitely a very involved job but enjoyable tho 😃... it would have been a million times better doing it indoors and on the lift but we keep tracking , i've got a friend that just got quoted £1200 for replacement of the clutch and flywheel on a 2009 Renault Megane 2.0 so you are right there i spent £177 without the flywheel off course i couldn't get one with in 10 days, now i realise why it was right in the beginning of this whole thing that is happening around the world. 136K it's probably getting close but if its not slipping keep going mine lasted at least 145K ... 👍👍👍👍 Cheers

    Hello, thanks for the video. I recently bought a Renault Megane 3, unfortunately the clutch is difficult to move and my foot hurts. I asked some people what the problem could be. They said the printing plate had to be changed. Now this week I will change the Completely clutch with the help of your videos. What do you think for the hard common clutch? is it printing plate or could something be different? 197000km 1.5 diesel year 2013, thank you again

    • @CarsExposed
      @CarsExposed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say age is the reason mainly because the pressure plate is old , changing the clutch disc , pressure plate and concentric slave cylinder will make the clutch pedal light again 👍
