This is the day Ayr United won the league.
The helicopter made a visit to the auld toon and Ayr United were presented with the trophy and crowned champions.

An excellent observation into this fine old Ayrshire’s clubs triumphs, although I’m a DAFC fan , I can well appreciate the values and and aspirations of this historic ,proud town’s football clubs contribution to the Scottish game , long live Ayr United
this was one of the best days of my life because this was the first league title I saw Ayr win. I was worried this was a flash in the pan but 2 years on and our second porrrible champ top 4 shows our team is more than any player.
I could watch this a billion times.

Got lucky on last game of the season but we were the best team in the league anyway. If the manager and the club had a wee think about it in the January transfer window we could have been doing the same in the championship, instead of patting each other on the back for reaching 40 points, we've blown a golden chance and beaten by a junior team.
