One of the best Opening themes ever. ABC was still the no.1 Network in 1980. This was one EPIC series. Both teams were so desperate, and played that way. Every game, every pitch felt like the fate of the free world was at stake. The Phillies finally broke through and won their first Championship. The Astros would play another EPIC 5 game Championship Series in 1986. This time it was the Mets that got 'em. I was happy the Astros finally got one in 2017. I know how baseball is, and when you love your team and they get so close, sometimes you think its never gonna happen. But, I'm glad you posted these special games. It really shows how great baseball can be when its played at its highest level.

The 1980 NLCS had one of the greatest uniform color schemes in MLB post season history! And that there is exactly how you are supposed to wear baseball stirrups! Seriously Big League!

I think joe niekro threw alot harder but, Phil had that nasty knuckleball, they both did, Phil, won 300 plus games throwing mostly knuckballs, now there's a feat no knuckleball pitcher is ever gonna reach, I think young pitchers are trying to throw the ball threw a wall, nowadays
