So far 151 scarlet and violet
151 brought me back into collecting for the 1st time since 1999. I was looking into buying one of those new shiny Pokemon skateboards from Santa Cruz and all of the sudden I start seeing ads for 151. This was literally within days of the release of 151. I checked my local Target and they were stocked with ETB's. I bought way too many that week. Dont regret it. I consider myself lucky
151 is an AMAZING set. The fa ex’s slap even tho the regular half art ex isn’t that great and we don’t have the reverse masterballs jap has I still love opening it.

You should check out the 25th anniversary set as well. That’s what got me back into it. I prefer all the OG cards/pokemon
same kinda situation. I got a switch, got pokemon violet for it, then bought way too much 151 😂 now I'm buying way too many of my favorite legendary singles at my local shop.. oh well, I'm in my thirties and single.. yolo
As a 90s kid, the 151 set really brought me back to collecting again. It was so nostalgic opening packs and collecting them.
151 is the reason I started collecting too.
Honestly after getting back into collecting, my favorite set so far has been crown zenith. Its never a bad time when opening some packs, and the art work for the galarian gallery cards are so sick.

I never took care of my cards as a kid and truly regret it. I would have to say Crown Zenith and their Gallary cards really got me into them as an adult. Learn a lot watching the community and am now expanding my collection with Obsidian Flames and Lost Origins.
Seeing you short videos showing how you negotiate and the value on some of these cards bring out the exciment in opening and seeing new rares in booster packs.
My most favorite set is the Japanese 151 set. This was my aunt's and my most favorite set before she passed this year. This set brings me so much happiness and knowing that my aunt will always be with me
Favorite set would probably be 151. I came back in the hobby right before Silver Tempest, but 151 is the first set I decided to complete a master set for.
About 75% done, now just need the big hitters!
Edit: Glad to see my favorite artist, Yuka Morii, received some love as well with the derpy Ditto!
Thinking about it my favorite set is crown zenith!!! Amazing artwork, and this is the set that I am only a few cards away from completing!
My fav set has got to be Lost Origin because that’s the set that came out when I first got back into the hobby and it’s the first set that I fully completed!
Recently found my old cards back from when I was growing up, and got back into collecting with my fiancee. We both really love the art on 151 and VStar Universe!

Pokemon EX Delta Species is def my favorite set because that's when i got to an age where i could really start buying packs with my own allowance money instead of just begging my parents to buy me booster packs lol. I was always very confused to why delta species cards were different from its original types (like pulling an electric kabutops), but whenever I pulled an EX card from that era, THAT was always the best feeling in the world.
Very nice video kuya. Really enjoy watching your card show content because it gives me a perspective on how to actually go about negotiating deals, but it's nice seeing your personal collection. Keep it up!
I don’t have a specific set so far, but I would say the 151 has been amazing. I’m a big fan of the illustrator arts. In my opinion, they’re dope because it shows the mons at their elements rather than action shots.

I want to either say Evolving Skies or Neo Destiny. I got back into Pokémon for Evolving Skies and Neo Destiny just brings back memories of watching older cousins collecting cards.

Just got back into the hobby and Pokemon 151 is hitting all the nostalgia points for me.
Don't have a particular favorite set but I do love all the later era Sword and Shield sets that had trainer gallery cards. Love cards that have both the trainer and their respective pokemon. Also, great video and sick collection.
Pokemon 151 was by far my favourite set (especially in the recent sets). Just so much nostalgia and the artworks were great!

I love Crown Zenith. It has some of the best Galarian Gallery rares out there like Darkrai, Regigigas, Deoxys, Giratina, Arceus. Just too many amazing hits in that set.

151 really brought back alot of old pokemon fans and thats something i love about it so thats gotta be my favorite
Oh man. My favorite set gotta be roaring skies. I would go crazy over that set back in the day. I stopped collecting over sun and moon but evolving skies from sword and shield brought me back into collecting because I am a die hard rayquaza fan.
after not collecting for over 10 years, 151 got me back into the pokemon TCG world and its got me hooked again. I gotta say Crown Zenith has def been my fav, the creation trio + arceus are just beautiful!

My favorite set is definitely Flashfire X and Y I remember constantly watching TH-cam videos on openings on that set because I always dreamed of seeing the card in real life. The different charizards are amazing and unique and the rayquaza is to die for!

About a year back into the hobby. Crown Zenith has become my new favorite. The artwork for the 4 gold cards (Gira, Arceus, Palk, and Dialga) is stunning.
My favorite set by far is Hidden Fates. ETB's, Pack Arts, and each card is so beautiful. Really made me appreciate the art itself!
151 is a throw back to some nostalgic feels of being back in the 90s good ol days. Would also say Jungle + Fossil, just wish I took better care of them folded in my pocket as a kid. 😂
Also a sky ridge guy. Probably my favorite set. I have some fond memories as a kid with that set.

Cosmic Eclipse is a special one to me. It was the set that was just out when I decided to start collecting again to try and share something from my childhood with my kids. They have some really amazing artworks, when I pulled the trainer Pikachu was a hit of nostalgia for me.
I recently started getting into TCG and I started with 151 and so far it pretty good. I never thought I would get into this kind collection but it’s really fun.

I got back into collecting with the release of 151. It has been so fun to open. Glad to start collecting again and this time I get to enjoy it with my kids. Makes purchasing cards a million times more fun! I would have to say the 151 is my favorite since it was the first packs I got to enjoy opening with my kiddos :)

It's probably Crown Zenith, for me! There's so many cards that are just beautiful to look at, and it's a relatively accessible set to complete. Love it!
Same with so many others- 151 brought me back and I started collecting because of it. It's prob my favorite set because the pokemon are familiar and the art is simply outstanding.
My favorite set has gotta be 151, just such a great inventive way to bring the nostalgia of the early years, while also being a refreshing reprint!
New collector here and I haven't opened any of the old school stuff, nor did I checked in detail the older cards, so my favorite set probably is shining fates, cuz it has shiny Koffing, which is my favorite pokemon! Love your shorts and I'm happy I checked your channel!

Getting back in collecting my fav is 151 just because of the nostalgia. I opened up my crate and found some all boxes from older sets like Water Blast! Gosh good times. So looking forward to continuing this journey of collecting!

Neo Revelations was my favorite set. It was my first booster box my mom bought for me as a Christmas gift when I was a kid and it was a first edition box as well! Brings back memories!

I recently came back to the hobby and I’m kicking myself that I ever left. My fav collection has always been Legendary Collection. Ironically it’s the last set I purchased before I left. I’m so happy to be back!!

Awesome collection. My favorite set is probably Neo Destiny. I love the old dark and light pokemon.
Just started collecting within the past few months so don't have a favorite atm but i do remember when i used to collect as a kid the gym heros set was my favorite and i still get goosebumps looking at the corner and seeing Sabrina and then pulling the Gengar. Great times lol
I have to say that X & Y Evolutions was my favorite set! It is what got me back into collecting in adulthood and featured some sick Mega evolutions for some of the most nostalgic Pokemon!
Favorite set is Evolutions XY! An affordable way for me to reminiscent about the OG's as a 90's baby! Love the collection and makes me want to find my niche in collecting. I look forward to seeing you at collect-a-cons this coming year!
Favorite set is either Base or Skyridge. I graded my childhood Crystal Ho-oh with PSA and got a PSA 1. Was so hype to see that grade come through. Love the content also!

The 151 set is my favorite! I know my situation isn't unique, but growing up we didn't have much but i was able to trade a few of my toys for the og cards. Now that I'm older it's been fun getting to complete that childhood dreams.

Favorite would be the obsidian flames, its what got me back into collecting (that adorable charmander promo, glad they added the bulba and squirtle)

Mine has to be original base set. I can still remember the excitement I got when opening up my first edition charizard while my best friend at the time pulled the blastoise. Was such a good memory from my childhood.
Scarlet and Violet 151. It’s been a while since I collected cards still have some 1st edition base sets. I started collecting again this year, right when obsidian flames came out then 151 came out, came back to collect at the right time. Very nostalgic feeling and amazing secrets art rare and full art rare cards.
My favorite set is Crown Zenith. The 4 gold cards that make the picture is so stunning.
My biggest question is, how would you go about knowing what to collect? What will potentially have a huge upside in value if held for 5-20 years. So much going on now with gold, full art, this and that it’s becoming a bit overwhelming.
Wow what a collection. My favorite set is the original base set. That was when I was a kid. Stinks because I collected them and kept really great care of my cards and then lose them in a house fire. Great video friend.

My favorite set has got to be 151, specifically the Japanese version! Having something small like a master ball variant makes it that much more challenging for a master set. It finally feels like a "master set" that makes you really chase that "gotta catch 'em all" feeling. Thanks!
My favorite set would have to be Diamond and Pearl Base set. It was the set that introduced LVL X cards and me being 8 or 9 at that time thought that they were the coolest cards ever. Honestly any DP set could be my favorite, such a nostalgic era for me... trading and battling with friends after school.
Call of legends for me, I pulled the shiny Rayquaza when I was a kid! Going to send it off for grading and hopefully get at least an 8!
