Do a breakdown of that play where he puts four time pro bowl defensive end Danielle Hunter in the sunken place with his Jedi mind trick long enough for Isaiah Likely to get open in the endzone for a TD. THAT is MVP sorcery.
Personnel and formation are totally independent. 11 personnel just means 1 RB and 1 TE which leaves 3 wr. Empty refers to the backfield being “empty” of anyone other than the quarterback. Any personnel grouping could be in empty formation. Check out the Linebacker Lab at Howtolinebacker.com for full courses on all such matters! Thanks for watching!
@therlowfoy9738 well what were the points last season on why he was MVP? Now let's bring those same talking points in the conversation.. by those standards he would not be MVP... So now we're showing favoritism as we change the standards for him this year again...I don't vote so it will be what it is. I just notice the change in Media from last year to now this year. Clowns. Next year it will change to meet some other narratives.
Challenge accepted. Fist, the question must be asked, what is the criteria for MVP?? Is the best player(Saquan)?? The best stats(Burrow)?? The most accomplished(Chase)?? But let me make the case as to why I think JA17 is the MVP. 2 Questions. First, When Derrick Henry rushes for 150, 170, 190+yards, who's the MVP of the team in those weeks?? 2nd, At the beginning of the season, most ppl looked at the Raven's roster and said "This is a SB caliber team". At the same time, those exact same ppl looked at the Bills roster and said, "This is a re-build, re-tooling, re-whatever year for the Bills meaning that the Bills wouldn't even make the playoffs. Some even said "The Bill's window is CLOSED!!!" So my question is, and understand, this has nothing to do with the level of play from Lamar. He's fantastic, has played fantastically, and I'm not saying anything to diminish that in any way. However, If the Ravens had the better roster, Derrick Henry, 9 pro-bowlers, a pro-bowl WR, an all time franchise TD catching TE of a franchise that already has 2 HOF TEs, the better D-fense, AND a 2 time MVP who not only is the MVP, but is playing better than he did either of the other years he won the MVP.............How come they're not the 2 seed?????????????? Or the 1 seed? How come in week 18 they, not only have to play, but also have to WIN to secure their spot in the playoffs??? Because, in the meantime, JA17 and his band of NOBODIES are kicking back with their feet up in week 18. They're so far out in front of the rest of the conference, they basically made their own bye week. When you're talking about the MOST VALUE to a team in the league, There's no question. Without Josh Allen, the Bills are the Giants, and fact of the matter is Ryan Tannehill took a very similar team to the Ravens to the 1 seed about 5 years ago in Tennesse. They don't need MVP caliber QB play to be a 10 win team. I'm not saying Lamar didn't play at an MVP level, I'm just saying it's easier to be in the MVP conversation when the team around you is loaded. #JA17MVP #GOBILLS #NFLPerfectGame That last hashtag has nothing to do with it I just wanted to remind everybody. GO BILLS!!
It's always fun to hear different perspectives on the MVP award. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! My thoughts are these: 1. Derrick Henry’s success this season is in part due to the fact that Lamar is such a threat to keep and the ravens have enough designed QB runs that defenses have to dedicate an entire player to check Jackson on every handoff. 2. Josh Allen could be a similar threat but I don’t believe the Bills use him in designed runs as much. 3. Further, the Ravens run game concepts are far more sophisticated than anyone else in the league this year. I believe this is by virtue of having Jackson, a very legitimate run threat on any play. 4. On every pass down, defenders are forced to maintain pass rush lane integrity and assign someone off the ball to spy Jackson. Allen is absolutely a worthy recipient of the Award largely due to his similar although lesser ability to stress defenses with the constant threat of a run. 5. Statistically, Lamar was just better this year. Great analysis and conversation! Thanks!!!
@@HowToLinebacker "Statistically" you're right. But JA17 is the MVP for one reason, More with Less!! The Bills are the 2 seed. without Josh Allen, the Bills are the Giants. The Ravens would be a 10 win team with Daniel Jones. The Bills were still WAY out in front of them with a much less talented team. Statistically, yes you're right. But when it comes to overall VALUE to their team, there's NOBODY who brings more value than Josh Allen.
@@HowToLinebacker Oh and one more thing when it comes to the "Statistics". JA17 is not gonna have the stats that other QBs have partially because the Bills have 8 wins by 20 points or more. That's more than any other team. JA17 sat in the 4th quarter more than any other QB. Mitch Trabiski is the leagues LEAST leading rusher from taking so many kneel downs(fact). Plus he didn't have to play in week 18 where other QBs need to play AND win to solidify their spots in the playoffs. Just FYI
that pass to Likely...damn!!!
Unreal
And nobody talked about that. Not even none of these so-called sports experts.🤔
the steelers game was crazy 😂 everyone saying henry carried, but the amount of gravity lamar has, he made 3 steelers defenders bite every time on rpos
Exactly! Check out the video I did about that game!
th-cam.com/video/WOnPXp4QhFc/w-d-xo.html
I agree, Lamar is mvp.
That last throw was crazy. Literally no arm motion almost like a wrist only throw for 22 yds on a rope
Lamar played baseball. That’s the arm angle of an infielder.
Do a breakdown of that play where he puts four time pro bowl defensive end Danielle Hunter in the sunken place with his Jedi mind trick long enough for Isaiah Likely to get open in the endzone for a TD. THAT is MVP sorcery.
Good job sir..
All22 and Road graders give an in depth film study as well. .
And Acho on fs1 talking about eye test by watching film on Josh and Lamar and he is not seeing stuff like that throw 🤦♂️ lol
it’s nit a participation award. josh is frikkin awesome. lamar is god-like
I like you channel , got a new subscriber here
.
Awesome! Thank you!
That was a dot on top he didn’t even step into it all wrist
5:24 how? Wow
If that was mahomes the media would have been eating that pass up
facts...
Yeszir ‼️
Watching him is as much fun as watching Army play college football.
He is not only the MVP, he is also the GOAT
Because he was last year without the numbers 🤷
If they beat the Bills then he deserves it.If not then he doesn't.
I’ll go with that
Empty isn't 11 personnel Pal

I guess you need to start making the case for him last year. And then bring those cases to this year. Consistency in MVP standards.
😂😂😂 he is and has been. Watch the games best player in the league josh allen turned the ball over 5 times in one game....
There’s a lot more to it than there should be imo
Last year was " last year ".
I guess that you need to recognize that last season is over. Period.

Hahahah oh he’s not. Josh Allen is by far.
hell no...
Real easy 9 probowlers
I guess that's his fault...lol

That’s hilarious about Trubisky! I agree stats are misleading sometimes.
Having Henry and put those numbers is crazy. 40+ td and only 4 int that wasn't his fault. Henry is a beast but Lamar win games with his legs or arm.
😂😂😂. He said it’s like skipping a rock across water.
😂🤷🏻♂️
Now that how you make good content salute 🫡 my guy
