y'know ed isn't particularly hot or all the things most girls think of a 'sexy' guy as, his hair is all cute and messy, no bad boy hair styles, his handwriting is so messy, no six pack :) but there's something about ed that is distinct, the emotion with which he sings, the heart behind his lyrics and the fact that his songs are beautiful, without naked girls or swear words. this song just touches something in my heart. It's rare in this generation to find songs about love and just pure love. I'm glad our generation has someone like Ed Sheeran :)

Ed is such a hard worker. “If Rugby players can do it on strictly”. I love that the two dancers recognised that there was a time in the dance sequence that she may have been hurt. I also love, love, love the song and video too x

Loved this! Watched the actual video again last night January, 2022. The woman is amazing; two people dancing and making it look professional is HARD. Can’t believe Ed was a newbie. It’s a fabulous dance duet, and cheers to Ed for having the guts to tackle it…and pull it off!! What an achievement! Five hours a day for three weeks-hard work! I fell in love with the song and then I fell in love with the video. I absolutely love that Ed Sheeran actually danced it himself through so much hard work that it pays off beautifully. One of my top favorite videos of all time. It brings me to tears and every time I watch it I have to put it on repeat and fall in love with it all over again. I feel like this song and video is proof that true love and real romance is still out there to be found by anyone determined to search for it... Also means I still haven't found it yet. It's never too late! This song and video made me a fan and I have no regrets! I just can't stop watching this Brittany is such a beautiful dancer and even though Ed doesn't have a dance background he did really well because it's such a complicated routine to a dancer let alone a non dancer, great dancing guys you blew my mind, girls love men who can dance or are wiling to learn, nothing more sensual than dancing

I never pictured Ed Sheeran doing dancing like this. Simply breath taking. I loved all of the lifts and turns, but I especially loved it when Ed would hold his partner close and look down at her. That look......my heart melts every time!

To all the people saying she did 90% of the dance, let me remind you he's a bloody singer-songwriter not a dancer and he was not in "dancing with the stars" he probably had lots of things to do like promoting his new album, interviews, live shows, tour, etc. I think he did his best to do something he never does (dancing) and I admire that, and btw the video is as amazing as the song.
Can we all just appreciate the fact that Ed Sheeran danced in his video. He could of gotten any other guy to do this for the video, but he was bound and determined to learn and be the one in the video to dance this. Not many artists would do that, he slimmed down some and took time to be taught the dance. I just still find it amazing.

It's always amazing to realise how much actual work and effort gets put into a mere 4-5 minute song or video and any other work piece, like this. Ed's done so much in his life and his career, and this is just one of those moments that make us (at least myself, as a fan) so proud of everything he's done. Cried the first time I heard the song and balled when I first watched the video. Maybe the best love songs of this generation. Very few songs (and videos) can trigger so many different emotions and memories all in one. This song never fails to make me stop, listen, sing along and sometimes cry at the beauty of its love story.
"Fucking A" for "Awesome!!!!" So Romantic!!! and the fact that the man is less experienced in dancing (which only comes out in the SLIGHTEST way in the official video) is SO sweet!! Way to be brave and hang in there, Ed. The result is exquisite. Such a breath of fresh artistic air in the midst of all these music videos with a zillion cuts in them, as opposed to long, continuous filming. (Some of them are artistic, but most are just copy-cat & cheap.)

Never seen this before, so glad it popped up on my suggestions. I recently watched a 16yr old Ed struggle with dancing whilst he was auditioning for a show. Thankfully, they were so impressed by his voice that they ignored that he could not dance at all.
I have always liked Ed Sheeran's music but just recently, following the birth of my grandson I have been listening to his music a LOT. Particularly 'Small bump' as his mum uses it (on continuous repeat) as a lullaby.
