Girl me too but unlike some of her stans, I can watch and be unbiased even towards those I like and she's been contradicting herself this entire season and her fight story keeps changing. One minute she's not remorseful and she blacked out (yet can immediately tell Ashley what happened lol smh), then she's crying and she's admits she was wrong, then it's back to she was provoked smh. She just needs to be honest and stop lying cuz she's looking crazy the way she keeps changing what she says. If you're not sorry then just stand on that. Don't say you've taken accountability if you're not remorseful. And if you are truly remorseful, then stop saying you were provoked and making excuses and just own it cuz it can't be both lol smh. People just don't like Candiace so no matter what she does, she's wrong. If the situation was reversed and Candiace beat up Monique and said right after that she had no remorse, ppl would lose their minds. They were mad that Candiace didn't want to apologize to Ashley over some words yet Monique still hasn't apologized to Candiace for physical violence but that's ok lol smh. Monique's attorney was so unprofessional. He talked so bad about Candiace in those press releases. Like he was auditioning to be a Housewife. I don't blame Candiace for not wanting to sit down with them.
This is interview was so weak. You can tell that these women aren’t journalists and don’t even watch the show. Did they even do any research ahead of this interview. Probably not. I also find it funny how people praise Monique for getting therapy but then mock Candice for it.

Monique has had a YEAR to tighten up her story. Unfortunately for her, her actions speak louder than her words. Her anger with Candiace may have been justified, but she never should've grabbed her. Her lack of remorse on the show really speaks to her character.
I don’t wanna be rude but it’s like y’all already have your mind made up (which is your right) so no matter what she says you’re going to vilify her, she literally admitted she was wrong and shouldn’t not have gotten violent.
You’re making a judgment about having no remorse after the fight initially happen cloud judgement. She’s, granted a year later but still, taking accountability and owning her share of the blame. I find Candice to be irritating but I did see her grow this season, however, she has yet to own her share of blame.

I person can brag about something that they did wrong in the midst of everything. That does not make it right. The thing people need to focus on is what are the steps people are making to better themselves and not just for camera. I don’t know for certain but I’m sure she had multiple therapy sessions. She was trying to conceal the part of the rumor that her baby wasn’t her husband’s...she was in protective mode...once that part of the rumor was out she and Chris chose to addresses it. She was also going through a human process, was honest about how she felt along the way...which wasn’t a lie...just a change in her thought process along the way. Candice contributed to the fight...someone else would have punched her in the face...just saying!

2. Her new story was that Candiace pushed her. But the cast gets their copy of the show 5 days before it airs. She got her copy of episode 8 on 9/15. It aired on bravo 9/20. She saw that it was Gizelle's hand. She had to change her story again.
3. Her new new story was that Candiace had her hand in her face. (I can't find the date cuz she does so many lives but it was after the show aired.)She stated, 'I was afraid for my life cuz when your hand is in my face, I don't know what you gonna do''. And all her ghetto trolls rolled with that final version. That's why we see the weird conflict in her stories. She can't even keep up with her own stories. On the AFTERSHOW 13,:56, she's saying she didn't know WHO said Candiace threw a drink at her yet we can all see from episode 8 that SHE HERSELF said it. YOU SAID IT MONIQUE!! Monique was banking on Bravo not airing the entire fight.
4. Her new new new story is that she has additional footage that'll we'll see at the reunion. 🙄🙄But the producers have already stated on the AFTERSHOW that they showed an UNEDITED, FULL version of the assault.

Monique is an idiot trying to spin a bs narrative yet her actions show otherwise. So you beat up Candiace for inviting her friend to her own party. But didn't have the energy for when the same person was at Ashley's party. Make it make sense.
Out of this 11:52 clip over 8 minutes of this clip was full of aggressive excuses and deflection from the aggressor in this altercation. Also saying that she had to hold someone down to prevent a physical altercation that she initiate first strike is totally disgusting! The cameras don't lie! After the fight was over and Candice was being sent home, Monique ran around the building in a rage yelling she was going to kill her! Monique was only stopped by producers, who had to run after her. In order to prevent her from attacking Candice again! At this point Candice was getting in a car and leaving; therefore, she was no long "a threat." The only truth Monique told while recalling this incident, is she has anger issues! Hopefully Monique is truly getting help to work through the anger. Her deminor in this interview came across aggressively rude and contradicts her statements on her accepting fault. I would recommend for her to get a PR team and not conduct any further personal interviews. Until she has fully healed and gained a better insight and outlook on things. This is a unfortunate turn of events and can cause serious damage to her professional and business reputation. Sadly a lot of damage has already occurred with the continued footage of the incident circulating on multiple channels, networks, and social media platforms. Monique can absolutely recover from this. Unfortunately as long as, she continues to provide additional sound bites, that further the negativity and ugliness of this situation. It will continue to be a hindrance in her career.

Oh come on, it's easy to recant the story in your favor to people who haven't seen the show. You know, several seasons ago Monique admittedly invited the ex-wife of Gizelle Bryant's then boyfriend to an all cast event specifically for the purpose of getting under her skin, so let us not pretend she is above playing dirty on the show. That said, Potomac has never been the HW franchise about throwing hands. The literal dragging is left to franchises like New Jersey. Is Potomac bitchy in the tradition of classic Hollywood films like The Women or All About Eve? Definitely. You fight on that show with wordplay and verbal jousting, and in the moment between Candiace the yapping poodle and Monique, Monique couldn't keep up and resorted to bashing Candiace's head.
I'm not a huge fan of Candiace, but looking at this objecively, the butterknife example is being mischaracterized; the person Candiace pointed it at was trespassing in the Candiace's home after she had been thrown out for verbally attacking her (a girl, btw, whose mouth is just as vicious as Candiace and given to outrageous slander ON camera-) the woman re-entered Candiace's home again some moments later after being asked to exit and refused to leave; surely Monique remembers what it's like to throw a cast member out of her house, she's done it before herself to cast members who have said less than Ashley did to Candiace. The thrown wine glass towards Monique, btw, was AFTER Monique had a pitbull grip on the Candiace's head, and was punching the daylights out of her, it was clearly Candiace's only defense after she she was being held down and being pummeled and, it was clear the girl could not even see where she was throwing. Monique is a beautiful woman with a beautful family, but it's the twisting of conext and intentional omission of details when sharing with people who don't watch the show that feels manipulative and disingenuous...and this is why a good portion of the viewing audience can't get behind her on this.
