Nice. Looks like the perfect weekender for coastal and lake cruising.

Guys, this is a powersailer with 115HP Motor! It is a hybrid Motor + Sails.

I have a macgregor19, what I like about it is it simplicity, the mast stores inside the boat(makes it cleaner and easier to travel, and you never hit your head on it when loading gear on the boat) the water ballast, the tiller steering rather than a wheel(wheel is too fine when under motor and too coarse when sailing), the lightness on a trailer, the smallness of the motor, and the simplicity of layout inside(cassete toilet and chilly bins are easy clean). None of this has been replicated again and I do not understand why. all these modern yachts are so complicated, you probably never finish fixing them! too much work, not enough sailing

It sells under the Odin brand in Europe - much better build quality than the Mac26

Obviously you don’t know much about Mac Gregor boats to make such a comment!

Nice boat to bad the people at the show were not welcoming! I wouldn't buy just because of that!

Looks lovely for lakes but not nearly capable of significant offshore cruising. Noi beam, no deadrise, not prepared for long juants.

Getting any boat is like getting a pet. To buy new, or rescue an older hull is a question. I for one would never support the continued use of fiberglass, carbon fiber or other non-biodegradable, non-recyclable materials in the manufacture of anything, especially boats. Aluminum, steel or wood, even ferrocement are suitable alternatives for any new design. I'm certain those who purchase new fiberglass hulls are of the same mentality as those who get their dogs from puppy farms.
