As I person who draws,I hate when people say "Don't do this,Do this" We all have our own styles in drawing,Just let people have their own style and let them make it how they want
No theyre just giving some tips to not do that if u want a good result which some ppl gets because the dont is the reason some ppl cant get better results sooo

Uh i guess since i dont have a tt the way i draw hands is creating a hexagonal like shape,the left part doesnt have the same size as the right(the left is longer and the right is shorter)then add ur fingers (longer for the middle finger).
some advice I picked up start light and work in layers😊identify where your shadows are and darken those areas in layers too. when you start light it's easier to create a smooth gradient between light and dark
