The Whisky War

Canada and Denmark. Two countries that you'd expect to be relatively peaceful ‚ neither country has that large of a military, and they're both generally on good terms with each other. So why were they both part of a conflict called the Whisky War?

• Note [1] - Denmark's not really known for being tall, but it has a high average height, and I didn't really have any other stereotypes about Danes, so that was the best I could do.
• Note [2] - Even though the League of Nations dissolved in 1946, it was a dud following the outbreak of WWII in 1939.
