The hair is fine the character I think its a misdirect I think its going to be Bizzaro. Over all I like where its going. Ive always hated the term does not translate well to live action honestly everything can teanslate to live action depending on your goals of the movie. For example James Gunn is a comic book fan so when he makes a comic book movie he leans into the world of the comic books. No marvel he was reatrained by the MCU when he did his Suicide Squad movie he sidnt have those restrictions its why we got Starro as a villain its why we got King Shark and Polka Dot man he does a lot of deep cuts. So yes things looking like they are ripped from the comic books will translate well into the universe Gunn is building and thats what we need in comic book movies not realism we need what makes the comics great. Stories with action, heart, humor and characters that inspire and suffer terrible tragic moments and over coming them.
Translating the comics to movie form does not always work look at X-Men and that with X-Men last stand or one of those X-Men movies it did not work so I'm still holding out hope for James Gunn
I absolutely agree. Very different medium. I just love that they are creating the costumes so accurately. They would definitely need to adapt the stories to fit the film medium but I'm hopeful that we can get some really awesome characters on screen that resemble more of the comic book feel.
