We first started our journey by passing Florence, (home of the Renaissance) and drove on SR222 to Siena, Italy. The next day we explored the Chianti wine region by stopping at the oldest winery in Italy, Ricasoli 1141. The next day we explored the UNESCO world heritage site, Val d'Orcia passing through La Foce gardens, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Monticchiello.
