    This lesson about his solo sticking style reminds me of his famous solo on "Kozo's Waltz," from the Messengers's A Night in Tunisia album. Probably my favorite Blakey solo of all time--and he keeps that tight hi-hat chick on 2 and 3 throughout, too!

    Thanks for that! Have been struggling for ages to get more info into Art's and others jazz musicians' feels and technics. I think you got it really close - as close as I have ever seen - and with a very good feeling. Thumbs up! And again, many thanks!

      BIG thanks!!! Now I got inspired to do more Blakey videos😃 There's no Blakey in the John Riley books but there is an entire book called "Art Blakeys Jazz Messages" by John Ramsay, which I haven't looked in actually..with solos & stuff I suppose. But Ill definately do some more transcribing as well this fall!! Thanks again!!!
