Right. Crime should be the most paying but then u lose the most when caught... And if you dont want risk and to only save up money over time slowly then u do a civ job.

yes, but considering this isn't real life and it's people having fun and making content, they don't want to punish people too severely. like for example they are in jail for a year or more. that's IRL days and not fair when it's just a game of cops and robbers.

If crim pays good than criminals would be so happy even if they get caught but the economy is so shit nowdays crims aint paying shut unless they do sani or g6 for hours so idk what u all thinking

Basically, 4.0 is very rough, slow, and a bit boring here and there. And crime isn't paying. Its unbalanced. The risk Vs reward isn't there either.
Also, i love the podcssts on the world. Talking about it is a good way forward.

4head can't talk about PD interactions. His character is treated completely differently by the pd based on the nature of the character
but i mean isn't rp what u make of it. Like cops will still go hard on him depending on the gravity of his crime/actions
I've only heard client as Peanut. My fuck that is such a stark difference in his voice. I didn't think it was the same dude for a split second. My lord. But yea I mean the aggressive pits and all are insane like at times it's just straight ramming. I can understand getting that aggressive after 3 swaps. I mean yea that's insane
They had a gang app and spray system in 3.0 and then they decided to make it even worse in 4.0. With people being stuck in a cycle of grinding.
Most mechanics on the server are also overly complicated and I couldn't care less about following whatever is going on with stickers, riddles, 12 step programs to wash money or whatever people are doing with moonshine recipes. Almost every stream you check out has people stressing about making money and not being left behind. Or its people complaining about scuff in chases or in general
It also doesn't help that some RPers are even blocking RP. Like the council acting like RP police. There's just too many rules and restrictions.
The perfect balance between Crim/Civ life is simple lets say a crim makes 20k a day from selling weed but get caught then the fine should be 25k plus 50months so it stings you but doesn’t deter you but lets say a Civ makes 20k a day doing Grime,G6,Sani,Towing you make their vehicle repairs higher than cops or civ/crim cars so you make 20k that day but the repairs basically end up costing you 75% of your day earnings
I feel like the best take is on average crim should make less money than cubs bc of risk but the top teir crims should make more money than almost anyone bc of the high success rate or cool ideas

It's sad to see so many great characters wasting 80%-100% of their time in np4.0 doing jobs. It's so boring to watch and it ruins a lot of RPing. I don't understand what was the thought process on starting this version this way besides profits. It's just a grindy subscription based mmo, and not a RP server.

Cg has declined twice. These podcasts are useless change nothing and inevitably will be used to say your character is a self insert by salty cop viewers.

all the problems they put in discussion were meanigless and small or they brought a good subject with gloves on not to upset someone ..... worst crims to explain the issues with the state of server right now...4head knows but is afraid to upset someone... Lou is in his rp bubble with the boys all chill and fun and like 4head he always doesnt want to upset anyone... and Client... well he plays Peanut :)) many times CG has to fix his fucked ups....cuz he doesnt think on long way...

The PD has gone back to how they were in 3.0 and in some cases worse than 3.0. Some cops shouldn't be cops at all. Blau has some really bad takes. His crim character really isn't a crim.

Crims should make way more money then civ jobs but you take the risk of getting caught. The risk vs reward thing. Civ money shouldn't be shit but be 80% what crims gets. The benefit of being a civ is you dont have to take risk and the money is more consistent but boring and can be done solo. Crim = faster money, more money, high risk of getting caught, and needs a crew to succeed.

Yeah man but now we have top notch grinding rp seeing people doing sani g6 or farming some shit just to get more money like 12hr a day
@@ashu_0073 depends on who you watch. Some of the slower rp can be really funny or endearing but it's admittedly not as exciting. I still prefer it to everyone being rich
@@ashu_0073i think its about finding the perfect balance between crims, civs and cops, also like it or not u can still create ur own rp by going against g6 workers or creating rp through helping g6 workers
Everyone in this chat is missing the mark so badly on cop-crim rp in 4.0. "Spam pitting/tazing" is not as bad in 4.0 as it was in 3.0. Not saying there havent been cases where it has happened, but you all are making it seem like it happens every single chase when it mostly doesn't. So I don't know what Client is on about, just seems he wants everything handed to criminals on a silver platter, when that's dumb because criminal activity should be difficult and met with severe aggression and punishment from cops. The only problem I had with cop rp was the lack of rp from cops early on who only chose to be robocops. But since Ruth left and the whole pd was reworked from the top-down there has been much more rp and fun interactions.
Crim shoukd be hard work because your a crim, g6 is easy cause it’s a civ job simple , small level crime little reward little risk when more stuff comes out I’m sure it’ll be high risk high reward
