Hi Tom, i am a new subscriber. I just have a B&W blade paired with short pips on forehand and long pips on backhand. Glad to found your channel. Best regards

    Hi Rakishman1313,
I did try the Black & White with Super Stop Anti. To me, I find the B&W is a bit slow and anti is not quite right for my style. I am now trying Short Pimple and LP OX instead. From the video, you play marvellously well with the combo. Perhaps, I will spare some time in future re-trying again!
Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!

Very impressed with the way you demonstrate the Black & White blade. Just a matter of curiosity, what is the sponge thickness of your Barna Glanti and Hass? I am surprised that you can even chop with the Glanti! I have been looking around antis that it can do chop, BH drive, push and chop block!

Hello stephen! The glanti is in 0.8 mm i can chop and block and hitting is a bit difficult. But the thing that is most important is that you have a good forehand to finish the point. For this the hass in 2.1 mm is very good! I can generate spin in my serve, attack with my anti and finish with the hass! The black and white blade is a gem! It’s perfect. I would recommend this combination to you!!
Maybe you can share my video! I would love that! I hope i helped you out. If you need more information let me know

@@tomantispin Thanks Tom for your speedy reply. I have been playing LP OX at a pretty good level with FH drive to finish points. However, using LP OX has a bit of complication when matching blade and FH rubber, which sometimes degrade the liveliness of LP OX, making it bit dull and mushy. Thats why I like to see its feasible to transform into light anti rubber which can do away table chop, chop block, block, swipe and BH drive. Furthermore, I am looking at changing blade. Black & White draws my attention, but its just All+. Well, after watching how you play it does not seem slow at all. Even using short pimple, you can do FH away table counter with sufficient power. At your level of play, saying its a Gem blade, surely makes me believe its true!

@@StephenTaiTT my friend. Listen to my advice! Buy the hass in 1.8 mm so u can also chop far away from the table! Buy the black and white blade. And try sauer & tröger super stop anti in 1.5 mm this one is best for chopping!!! This is not a glanti but a standard anti. This is better for chopping

@@tomantispin Thanks Tom, I dont chop in FH. I will get the B & W blade first. you are using 0.8 mm sponge and you can still chop. whats the main difference in sponge thickness on anti? You are advising me to try the Super Stop 1.5 mm and not Barna, any reason for that? Any particular difference for Glanti and anti? BH drive in LP OX is also my winning asset. I hope 1.5 mm will do the trick! Sorry asking you so many questions! I will look into it and certainly take your valuable advice!

@@StephenTaiTT with super stop it is easier to attack because there is a bit of grip still on the rubber topsheet!!
It is also slower and easier to control and chop! With anti it is: how thicker the sponge, how slower the anti because the sponge slows down instead of catapulting!

Hi there, very interesting discussion with stephan. have played and tested most of these rubbers. My question is whether B&W blade can be compared to neubauer combination effect.
Have tested Glanti 0.8; 1.2: 1.6 mm on Blood Hound (-All), Unicorn (ALL- / ALL), Spinlord Carbon Strike (+ All). Hass 2.1 mm is very good, use it on my unicorn blade in my fh. but has never tested glanti on just Unicorn, nor on Neubauer Combination Effect. Do any of you have experience with it? I have been following Stephen for a while, so I know what he has tested, but have just received tips about you Tom, now I subscribe to your channel and have seen your videos. I'm very grateful that you guys have so much time to spend making these films.
    Thanks in advance

Hey man thanks for the love! The unicorn blade goes very well with superglanti 0.8 or störkraft!

This is interesting. Did you use a traditional anti instead of frictionless in this video? I have been advised that antis do not necessarily like the slow side as some could flex and give a mushy feeling as you play. I have seen a top level player in US using the faster side for anti and slower for regular inverted side for his forehand .
