Rules:
Only use the Redguns ACs
If an AC hits 0 AP they're out for the rest of the run. If every AC is destroyed the run is over.
*Hakra's frame, inner parts, expansion, color and one weapon are found from data mining. Hakra was rank 22 in the arena and probably didn't do that with a single bazooka and assault armor so we have him a full redguns loadout
*The Tester Pilot is this runs G13 - build is the same jusy with official redguns colors now

Hey everyone! Thank you for waiting for the latest video while I dealt with computer issues. There'll still be a Viewer Nuzlocke coming up with the added rule of no OS Tuning that boosts damage dealt or mitigates damage taken. This will be a regular thing we do on the streams/channel and we currently have 4 or 5 teams of 8 but I'm always up for adding more! If you're interested in seeing your build on a run we have a dedicated thread on the challenge run discord (discord.com/invite/SUN4CY7CeY) but if you just want to drop them in a comment that's also fine! Just remember to add color values if you're not on PC!
Arshile is the Rubicon Liberation Front Representative who gives us missions like defend the strider, and Ziyi flirts with him when we rescue her and thanks us for doing so after the mission

@@domomosh not gonna lie, i only ever did that log collection mission 2 times, my first run through and then to 100% the game and collect all data logs, so i forgot Ziyi even says that. Youre video reminded me. I hate killing Ziyi and other anti-RLF missions

I really like how Michigan puts Volta in his place after he calls Burning Pickaxe a piece of junk. Like, yeah, the RLF is his enemy but he still respects them as human beings. Idk, maybe im reading a lot into it. I really like Michigans character
Regarding the whole "Why does Walter need a cane & how old is Walter?" bit, youth-preserving procedures are possibly thing in this timeline, as one log states that Carla looks too young to be a Cinder, in spite of the fact that she is probably in her 80s, so I'll put Walter in his 60s, 67 at max. As for the cane, some people do theorize that he actually lost his left arm at some point prior to purchasing 621, as his shadow doesn't feature a left arm in the Story Trailer, and the cane is meant to help with his balance.
Oh for sure, I do question how viable it'd be to pilot an AC with one arm but I definitely think technology has improved enough to extend the average life span. Carla still seems like the odd one out though
@@domomosh There is some form of an answer to piloting an AC while crippled, though: Augmentation. It's confirmed in a log (the one in Escape guarded by an MT patrol, "Testing New Components") that the Factory does mutilate the POWs brought to them, with the log saying to "leave the torso intact", roughly. With Walter being in the HAL 826, a Coral-powered Ibis AC, and Arquebus being in control of the RRI main base of Institute City, it is possible that they found some of Assistant 1/Walter's father's notes on the first 4 gens of Coral Augmentation, and used Walter as a test-dummy using HAL and piloting it solely using a neural uplink through Coral.
The main reason why Carla is still so young is because she's a Doser. Consuming Coral as a drug apparently has a side-effect of retaining one's youth. Walter isn't a Doser, so it makes sense why he's so old.
Saw someone mention this in the chat by I feel like the hardest nuzlocke would be doing all the Allmind original ACs because they seem so arbitrarily built build wise.
That would be an interesting one to take on if we're including those weird ass builds they made. If it's just kate and iguazu's build that'd be an interesting time keeping the few of them alive

Hey DoMo! Great vid as always! I have a little tidbit for the interaction with AA that happened during the Coral Convergence. Since Assault Boosting gives you a ~30% reduction in stagger taken most builds can tank through Assault Armor by simply ABing into it, and it can allow you to even do your own combo off of it! This is one of the many reasons why for PvP you will rarely see Assault Armor outside of laser dagger combo builds
YO MIST! Thanks again for swinging by the stream. I kind of realized after the fact when editing the video that all the time where someone zoomed into my AA with AB they must've had some build up already accumulated. I knew there was a big reduction for AA but it was the first time I witnessed it play out like that. As an AA lover slight bummer to hear about pvp but guess it can still hold its ground as a combo ender for punishing.
This is a really fun idea of a challenge. I want to try it with the redguns and vespers now

i think the reason your zimms were missing as volta was you were up so close that the shotty was actually aiming *past* them, as in the barrel was so long that it just couldnt aim directly at the target
Yeah during editing I was like that's kind of silly but I saw exactly what you mean. Just uncanny that it happened to me for the first time then it does it a 2nd time the same battle lol
They should have given Iguazu the pilebunker or bomb thrower. I would take the stun baton over the shield.
That'd actually be an interesting add on to his build. I think I'd choose bomb thrower but making him the sole dedicated melee user for the redguns would also be cool
the Iganzu strut is the only kind of fanservice I wanna see
I have a suggestion for another run, can you beat armored core with handler walter’s armored core, I’ve tried doing it and in my opinion, it’s hard as hell to master.

I feel like Iguazu could've benefited from having the Huxley Orbit and Assault Armour or Pulse Armour in the based game. Head Bringer would be even better than it already is.
Maybe the huxley wasn't developed yet but yeah AA would be mean on the dam mission if you betrayed them and his build would benefit overall from them though there's a mean mf in pvp that only uses base Headbringer sooooo who knows lmao

There is data mining saying which parts hakra used? Because data logs does not say mich about the weapons.
About iguazu 1.5: i think he should belong to allmind faction, since when we encounter him in that ac, he has already deserted the redguns
Sorry for the confusion. There's a modded save with the data mined builds we used to reference his frame, inner parts and color values. Weapon wise he doesn't have anything but his bazooka but since his data log showed him at rank 22 in the arena it was decided he'd get a full redgun loadout as opposed to the certain death he'd face running that and assault armor
So, about mika. For me I feel like mika wanted to die in his last battle that's how he wanted to go out giving the others a chance to live the life he couldn't. Mika is hard wired for fighting that's where he feels most at home plus at that point he already lost control of most of his body. So, a world where the gundams aren't needed is a world mika can't really live in anyway.
Ider how it came up but yeah I get that too. The thread was about how he'd be as a parent and everyone was saying he'd just teach his son to be a cold blooded killer and I just don't see that. Yeah he's a little messed up from being a child soldier but he still had ambitions with farming and mechanical knowledge. If he's still fully disabled I could see him feeling useless but I'd hope they'd find a way to make gundams alaya portable for him so he could be more involved. I think it'd be a difficult adjustment at first but I think Atra and Kudelia would help him through it. Plus having a kid can really change some people. Its all speculation at the end of the day but nice to see the IBO fans!
@@domomosh I can mika would make a great dad. He'd probably be the overprotective kind. Because, with certain members of tekkadan he was basically a protective wolf. So yeah mika'd be a good dad if he could move.
Although we do have the issue of orga's death. If mika had survived I can see him trying to find the dude that killed orga and kill him.

It's in his data mined build oddly enough. Even though it's just wreckage they still gave it all the assets and yeah for some reason that's the generator he has

Good run I lurked in your stream for the majority of the run. I also have done this run over on my stream though G6 Red (my favorite redgun) solo'ed 80% of the game during my run dying to IBIS Cel 240 and then Iguazu died to Steel Haze Ortus and then Volta beat Ayre. Overall, not too hard of a run though it made me want to do a G6 Red deathless run because after the run I went and killed IBIS with G6 Red and I was like so it is possible I was just playing bad. Lastly, I wanted to clarify what Ravens were from the early gens were just mercenaries though the role does change from gen to gen and I also wanted to ask do you ever plan on playing the gen 1-3 armored core games? I absolutely the games but do agree that the controls are pretty bad for controller though it would be interesting to see you use current setup to play them.
