ooft that was quite the intro to advanced for him, but he did so well. bless his heart he was trying his best to not freak out at everything lol. i could almost hear him going "heck, that ones huge" "what the f is that?!!!" and "they hide things behind bales now?!!"
10ab was a pretty tough question and I think it was more difficult for Lee because of his big stride. It gave him no time to process that there was a fence to jump. It was a pretty extreme slant too. He did so much, so well on that course. Looks like an Advanced horse, for sure.
That looked like a tricky course ! Well ridden, can hear how much you enjoyed it in your voice, amazing to get to join you on these rides. Thank you for sharing! Getting a lot of us through lockdown across ‘the pond’ x
Amazing how when you go up the levels the ride becomes something completely different. Faster, bigger, more wow. The tension in the pit of my stomach was real lol
It's so weird seeing this because I just got done running around the prelim at pine top today and walked the advanced course with my trainer since she was riding it... totally different perspective - that hammock was friggin massive in real life.
He’s so clever. He adjusts as he approaches to suit him. That’s not anything bad to say about how you approach as you give him a really good invitation, he just thinks for himself which is lovely to watch. That water was hard work & you both absolutely nailed it. 🥰
Wow! That was a rough course for poor Lee's first go in advanced. I'm so proud of you both for getting through it despite all the new stuff it threw at you. I really appreciate watching the learning curve of a great horse and a terrific rider.
this was insane to watch, just wow. the amount of training, skill, and confidence it takes to race towards those jumps so fast...i've been riding in different disciplines for years but this was my first time watching a XC helmet cam at the advanced level, i didn't know it looked so fast!
Oh maaaaan, those Advanced courses are something else! That step up in levels certainly is not something to take lightly, but once again you show your great horsemanship in having prepared Lee so well. For his first Advanced that was really great and I can't wait to see more of these helmet cams in the future :)
That was a crazy course! Every time I watch Lee, I find myself saying, “Come on, Little Johnny!” Lee has such a great work ethicI can’t wait to watch you two keep climbing.
Holy that course seemed massive! And very technical. He took nearly everything in his stride, real big prospect for now and the future. Superbly ridden.
He has heart ❤️ Lee has what most event horses don't 🐎 a great rider and guide to team gold you both are golden nice job well in hand so much depth n scope
Wow, amazing save at the coffin, that was scary to watch but Lee (as you said) was a saint! A really hard course for his first advanced! What a horse, and what a ride!!
Congratulations on a very good Advanced XC round despite the run-out at 10B (I suspected that combo would be difficult). Thanks for bringing up some of that Florida sunshine (didn't know you were at PT until I saw you on the OOG).
You guys look so good I wish I had your patience I am not patient at all and I have a 4 year old horse so it’s pretty hard to be patient for me hahaha you are such a good rider I love your go pro videos they are so fun to watch!!
What a good boy!!! He did so good❤️ That was a really tricky combination for his first time. It’s a shame that fencing was there. You couldn’t really adjust the line to help him out much at all😕 you could see the surprise in him when he saw that second fence over the hill, he was really caught off guard.
A big step up the levels, this had some serious questions! Apart from the 20 pens (I'm sure you weren't the only ones to 'score' at that fence?!) it was a flowing round, jumping mainly out of stride - looked good and you both did really well!
🙌💎 Freakin fabulous! So darn proud of you guys!! Lee def has BeastMode strong🔥😍 Great job!!ps- love how you get them feeling all-that in the beginning. 😍🤩🙌🔥💎
Can someone please tell me what that clock timer thingo is? What does it do? Lol. My horse would be puffed after the third jump. I'd probably get lost throughout the course 😂
it helps her keep on pace through the course. she knows from experience how far she should be after each minute, so if it beeps and shes not at the fence she thought she'd be at, she knows to pick up the pace a lil bit.
can I make a suggestion for your bridle number? Like a lot of people, you have it hooked *over* the browband, which makes it more likely to fly off. If you go *under* the browband and then pinch it over it's a lot more secure!
ooft that was quite the intro to advanced for him, but he did so well. bless his heart he was trying his best to not freak out at everything lol. i could almost hear him going "heck, that ones huge" "what the f is that?!!!" and "they hide things behind bales now?!!"

As Johnny steps down, Lee steps up. Go Lee go!
That was some Burghley-level grit he showed at the coffin and that course was no joke! Congrats on having a new advanced horse in your string! :)
That was a tough round for his first Advanced round.

Hey. Your horse is beautiful. Also your content is amazing and your horses are SO talented, as well as you! I could never do that.
I think you can😁😂
She’s so awesome, I’d love to have a future horse trained by her 🤩
He’s so clever. He adjusts as he approaches to suit him. That’s not anything bad to say about how you approach as you give him a really good invitation, he just thinks for himself which is lovely to watch.

Wow! That was a rough course for poor Lee's first go in advanced. I'm so proud of you both for getting through it despite all the new stuff it threw at you. I really appreciate watching the learning curve of a great horse and a terrific rider.
Wow, I could feel his excitement for this round. He did so good especially with how hard that course was. Great job!!

My heart was in my throat at times just watching this!! You rode amazingly!!well done❤️
The oxer to coffin to corner jump run at 3:55 was a badass save (Lee is a good boy and Elisa is a hell of a rider)! Great job to both of you! 👏💪

Those round bales next to the third jump would spook my horse so badly😂

Good job Lee! I love how she just talks him through it, and apologizes to him when she gets it wrong.
Holy that course seemed massive! And very technical. He took nearly everything in his stride, real big prospect for now and the future. Superbly ridden.
wow this was insane! the utter trust you two had to have to complete that course is amazing
He has heart ❤️ Lee has what most event horses don't 🐎 a great rider and guide to team gold you both are golden nice job well in hand so much depth n scope

The table after the in and out seemed effortless! Faboosh!!

What a tricky course!!
Well done Lee
Wow pretty technical-got sick of seeing those chevrons! Shows you what a great horse he is.
I Love this 🇨🇦🏇🏇
Laneys mom, the thoroughbreds! She is so awesome.
he has come so far
You were going so fast your camera couldn't keep up. Great ride! He is learning!
Can someone please tell me what that clock timer thingo is? What does it do? Lol. My horse would be puffed after the third jump. I'd probably get lost throughout the course 😂

Good lad
I wanna do this so bad but like for beginners bc I can’t even make it Over 70cm and my horse would bolt and end up galloping over them
can I make a suggestion for your bridle number? Like a lot of people, you have it hooked *over* the browband, which makes it more likely to fly off. If you go *under* the browband and then pinch it over it's a lot more secure!
It’s wrapped around. I’ve been doing this a while ;)
Woo hoo what a nail biter 😁
This is so cool! I love these. Been watching for a few years now and love seeing Johnny run.
Are there any moments when you're scared/nervous?
Weeèeee let's goo Lee
Those combinations tho
Wow they don't call it advanced for nothing! Amazing horse and rider!
I’m going to be just like you when I’m older
Some very sketchy moments..great job
Life happens
my horse would have saw those jump and would have tried
to kill me
Anyone else hear her call him Johnny at 0.37 seconds?
I said steady buddy. But it does sound close!!
@@WallaceEventing oh sorry! I can hear that now😆 You ride all of them amazingly by the way!
I had to double check because it does sound like Johnny. But I call Johnny “buddy” too ;)
✨hi there! everybody who has a horse comment what its name is! idk why but im curious :) have a great day✨
moose
Ronan (but I call him Baby Shark because he likes to nibble when you give him treats)
sandy!
Silver & Peter Piper.
Niner’s Blaze... we call him Niner
Yay im early! Also it says there is 2 comments but there is 3...
I bet Lee was bored stiff as a race horse...
I would say that was so fast it bordered on reckless.
No one made optimum time (6:03) during this round (everyone was slow). The designed speed was 570 m/min.
I was a minute and change over optimum because I ran slow.
