Did you ever run into anti synergy with white widow and red guardian? I try to avoid putting them in decks together but it seems to have worked out here. If I wanted to prioritize consistency for red guardian what would you recommend replacing white widow with? (Edit) The link to the deck list on untapped is the “strongest surfer” deck right now. Hold on hold on cause this could be a game winning play. 17:43 you played shuri on hotel inferno. Move happens first. If the opponent moved nocturne, would that have canceled Shuri? The same way quake does if you switch the location with priority? Because you wouldn’t be playing your next card at that location 🤔
Interesting question, though my guess is probably not. I don't think Shuri looks at the specific location you play her at. Otherwise, if you play Shuri at Hotel Inferno, and there are two Hotel Infernos on board due to Mirror Dimension, does her ability work at both of them? I don't think so. Shuri was a strong card for a while, so if you were able to disrupt Shuri with location change cards like Witch or Magik, then those cards would have been strong counters to Shuri, but that never happened. This is just speculation, but my guess is that the game sees the locations as three distinct objects and Shuri remembers which of those objects you played her at. Quake (and Starlight Citadel) are able to move those objects around. Changing the specific location through Nocturne or Scarlet Witch doesn't change the object containing that location.

Yeah it just switched when they reworked movement in that recent patch. They made things "consistent" but I don't love the changes.

Whenever I play a deck like this I always draw the high powered cards and I have a handful of 6 cost cards I can't play 😂
