I am binge watching these episodes today and truly enjoying the vibe❤ More specifically I am liking that you are not trying to sell me anything or talk me into anything. It’s just friends enjoying what they love. I love Disney, because it makes me happy, it’s just that simple. I feel like this gets lost at times by the vloggers, the simplicity 💜
Loved this episode! I, too, am upset at the prospect of potentially losing our water(ways) in Magic Kingdom. Might be different if we could see the lagoon or bay from the park. MK seems like it has SO much pavement.
What about leaving a small portion of water and docking the boat in front of Tiana’s. You could sell snacks and add tables to the deck for some extra seating. We would still have a small slice of waterfront to help cool down the park, and it might make the transition to cars seem a little better. I’m worried about how they are going to mesh the snow tipped mountains,Tiana’s and Big Thunder, I don’t see this as “Frontier Land”. The concept art is usually better than what you end up with and I wasn’t a fan of it visually. That said I am hopeful because the addition of cars would be great.
I was hoping for a 5th gate, but not surprised that they didn’t. My favorite thing announced was probably villians land, with my least favorite being the new cars land. I think it’s a terrible idea, and I’ll miss the waterways. I also thought Avatar was a weird one, but it is what it is
Hi Deni and Erica!! Great episode!! The D23 announcements were just the infusion of excitement and imagination that WDW parks need so badly. I am most looking forward to The Starlight Night Time Parade!! Love the parks at night!! Cannot wait to experience Villains Land and Tropical Americas!! I will be turning 72 later this month, and can only hope that Hubby and I will be able to enjoy all the new experiences in the years to come!!!!😄
My ❤ was incredibly thrilled after the D23 announcements. Cars, Villans, and Encanto in Disney World are a huge yes for me! I'm most excited about Encanto. I hope it has animetronics! Most confused about Paris getting the new Frozen when WDW clearly needs to improve their's. Least excited about Disneyland getting Avatar. I don't do water creatures at all. I'm most surprised that they're getting rid of Tom Sawyer Island but not sad about it. It's about time some new rides happen without tearing down all the original ones. Love y'all! 😊
I’m with you on the nighttime parade coming back! That was my favorite announcement too! I’ll tell you what confused me was Disneyland getting the Coco ride. Doesn’t it seem a better fit for Epcot? I do love Gran Fiesta Tour, but it could definitely use an upgrade and Coco was the perfect fit in my opinion. I am also very disappointed about losing Rivers of America and the Liberty Belle. My Disney heart is full of mixed emotions.
The announcement that surprise me the most was the Monster Inc land. I love Mike and Sulley. The announcement that made my head tilt was Cars going where Tom Sawyer Island is. I would have thought they would place it at Tomorrowland Speedway.
Not shocked to hear no 5th gate: With the ever dropping stock price, no way can they afford it. Was shocked to hear about villains land, though. Honestly thought that was a pipe dream. Still not convinced that will actually happen (or anything they announced at D23). And while I understand the hysteria over the re-imagining of Tom Sawyer’s Island, I saw it coming. They need some attractions to try to alleviate the crowds at Magic Kingdom. That island just doesn’t ease capacity the way they need it to. Most excited about the Monsters Inc roller-coaster, but half surprised it wasn’t announced as the reimagining of Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Glad it will be a completely new land and attraction!
Disappointed that Figment and Spaceship Earth are skipped over once again. A lounge is not the overhaul that was promised long ago. I was so hopeful that we would be surprised by Dreamfinder . I am grateful that after 10 LONG years, the nighttime parade drought is finally being rectified.
I don't trust this current crew to get anything right, because they have under delivered on everything since Pandora with the exception of the expanded France pavilion, Tron and Guardians. 43 square miles of land, and they feel the need to bulldoze one thing to add another. I am thankful they are replacing Dinoland, that who part of the park is not up to Disney standard.
I truly don't understand you two. They are taking away the most beautiful waterway which added to the ambiance of The Magic Kingdom, making more concrete and adding more noise. You're sad but not really. On top of that, to say you trust the Disney Imagineers?! They have ruined so many things the last few years I don't see how you can possibly trust them. Tiana is broken a good portion of the time and it's brand new. Days after the concrete sitting area (which took out the beautiful Fountain of Nations) opened, a good portion of the floor lighting no longer works. Sections of Moana splash pad doesn't work all the time. And it took them five years to do so much of this stuff. Nothing they build looks anything like the plans they show. I could go on and on but I'm you catch my drift. You guys should be up in arms at the destruction being done to Frontierland. Because it will not stop there. Everything they are planning to do could have been done elsewhere. They are turning a beautiful 'theme' park into just an amusement park. The magic is gone.

Great episode!!!
I like when you have contrary opinions because we see the two sides of the coin. 👍🏽

Great video! I’m really excited about Villains Land. I’m disappointed about losing Muppets Vision 3D but I am excited about Monsters

Totally off topic…Erica, I love your Mickey necklace! Where did you get it? As always I love following you both on your various platforms. ❤️
