Royce the 5'9 got a lot of praise for being lyrical & having his own unique sound also it was said he out rapped Eminem on "hell: the sequel" album I don't remember the exact review word for word but it put a light on Royce way before they formed slaughterhouse.

Disclaimer: im just a young South African dude who likes the channel, not an expert but For me, i enjoy today's music because its very melodic and entertaining and the bars are more casual and relaxed. i love 2000s and early 2010s hip hop because they transformed the game and made it normal to have good bars and good energetic beats. (my fav music generation) i respect 90s hip hop and earlier generations and still listen to the few songs i like. songs like this one where you wonder "damn how can they put this together?" are my favourite.
