I learnt to play on one of those -it was so big it wouldn't go through the door and the entire front room window had to be removed to get it in the house! I remember it having a really good drawbar organ sound.
¡Cuánto sabio por aquí! "Sine waves", "triangle waves"...
Danke Monika ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tons of bells and whistles but crappy sound compared to a Hammond. I was waiting for the Leslie to go into action, but even this couldn‘t remedy the poor, thin drawbar sound. The problem is that the Farfisa and other electronic organs of that era use a kind of triangle waves while tonewheels generate *sine* waves. The ‘instrument‘ presets are ridiculous; I like the choir sound though.
Well… in 1983 even the Hammond organs were based on LSI technology and not on the famous tone wheels anymore. I don‘t think my Aurora‘s Hammond sound is much closer to a B3, than the Pergamon‘s sound… Ever heard the - previous top of the line organ - Coronet (Maharani) played by a really great organ player? I think the organ sound is great: th-cam.com/video/eHCdzkjo27k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YO1iKEk4cfXuFUQ5&t=101
its wrong to compare farfisa organs to hammond. They are not the same instrument, although Farfisa organs have so many different sounds, hammonds just one.
@@nicolopriano5141 If they were the same instrument it would be pointless to compare them. ;) And no, a Hammond does not have just one sound. In fact it does additive synthesis!
Thanks for the wonderful tour of your Farfisa. I would like to have one someday like the compact duo. Thanks again.

Late to this video, but really enjoyed it. I'd say you know how to play keys.
I would have loved to hear more from the rhythm section, but thank you so much for sharing all of that !! :)
It's pretty crazy to think about how much engineering went into this. Sure it can't do a clean sine wave but quite versatile in being itself.
I would love to see the electronics inside of it.

Podrías hacer un video vos, en lugar de criticar innecesariamente.
Still a Farfisa. That says it all.

I think it was very expensive back in the 80's

I don't know how good these where but Im afraid it sounds terrible.
Es que la demostración es bastante pobre. Además, en algunos aspectos, apenas se detiene.
Scusa, ma sai suonare....????
