I’ve been watching nascar almost religiously since 1997 and I’ve never seen a clip or heard of that Bill Elliott-Alan Kulwicki Richmond finish. Great find!
Honorable mentions: Kyle Larson's 3 in a row #1 of 2021: 600-Sonoma-Nashville (one corner away at Pocono but a LF tire did him in), Earnhardt's 4 in a row in 1987, Petty's 10 in a row in 1967 (NASCAR record), Johnson's 3 in a row in Fall 2004 at Charlotte-Martinsville-Atlanta, Junior's 4 in a row at Talladega, Johnson's 4 in a row at Charlotte, Gordon's 4 consecutive Southern 500 wins, and Johnson's 3 straight Coca-Cola 600's.
Jeff Gordon from 1995 to 1999 won 47 races in 156 starts. Do the math on that insane winning percentage. That included 3 three peats one of them being 4 wins in a row, 7 wins in 95, 10 wins in 96 and 97, 13 wins in 1998 and 7 wins in 1999 all in which also included 2 Daytona 500s, 2 Brickyard 400s 3 Coca Cola 600s 2 All Star wins 5 Darlington wins which included 4 straight southern 500s, 5 straight road course wins, 4 straight bristol wins, 3 straight Dover and of course 3 titles in 4 years. And within that 5 year span he won the most races every single one of those years a feat which was never done before or since in the history of NASCAR Cup.And for a cherry on top he had a streak of 22 straight top 10 finishes 18 of them being 18 top 5s in a row in which at one point he won 7 times in 9 starts. Nothing was scarier than a prime Jeff Gordon. Trust me. Now that's a winning streak that still has not been matched 💀
You should do best crew chief win moments where the crew chief makes a race-winning decision on pit road, for example in 2001 when Elliott Sadler stayed out for 150+ laps at Bristol to win
It's crazy that the fans remember better than the drivers and crew chiefs. Chad kanaus in multiple interviews is surprised to remember they won 4 in a row
You need to do one on the real winning streaks, most consecutive seasons winning at least one race. Kyle Busch 18 Richard Petty 18 David Pearson 17 Jimmie Johnson 16 Rusty Wallace 16 Ricky Rudd 16 Darrell Waltrip 15 Dale Earnhardt 15 Tony Stewart 15 Jeff Gordon 14 Lee Petty 13 Cale Yarborough 13
Ok. Here Are The 5 Winning Streaks, For The Drivers, 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. #1 - Chase Elliott. $2 - Darrell "Bubba" Wallace. #3 - Tyler Reddick. #4 - William Byron. And #5 - Alex Bowman.
4:04 Just realized I misspelled Phoenix, my bad hope you guys enjoyed

Gonna miss them beautiful paint schemes from Kyle Bush
It’ll definitely be weird to see him in a Childress car for sure… but it might also be just the change he needs.

Every kyle busch win with Joe Gibbs
It's crazy that the fans remember better than the drivers and crew chiefs. Chad kanaus in multiple interviews is surprised to remember they won 4 in a row
Whats crazy in the Gordon streak is Mark Martin finished second to him 3 times
Both were unhinged that year, still wish Mark would've gotten that championship but Gordon earned it
1992 literally was the greatest season EVER in nascar
Richard Petty ended his career with Jeff Gordon beginning at the same year at the same race.
@@alexcasares7401 and the 6 drivers fight for the championship+the suprise one won it
Brad Keselowski 2018 snubbed
Southern 500
Brickyard 400

Richard Petty ten in a row in 1967. Now that was the greatest
