OMG! Sunday Night at the London Palladium. My mum let me stay up late to watch Paul and Barry even though I was 15, and her saying "now there are a pair of handsome boys, they'll break a few hearts I'm sure" 💔...they certainly broke mine. I was always a massive fan. RIP guys, you are sorely missed. May your memories be blessed 💞.
There will never be another talent in the world of entertainment as dynamic as Paul and Barry Ryan. Gifted vocalists, electrifying performers, international sex symbols, and tireless humanitarians. Thank you.
I totally agree, beautiful people, aren't we lucky to have lived at the same time? wouldn't have missed this for the world! A big thank you from me too!
Just love looking at this clip of Paul and Barry at the start of their careers. I love they way they seem to be giving each other encouraging smiles. So cute!
They were only seventeen when they sang this but so talented, just love listening to their music and looking at them! So addictive, the music of that time is better than anything around now and 'eloise' is one of the best songs of all time
Yes. He is talented. But as well underrated. He did so much good songs. Eloise, Love is Love, The Hunt, and so on for his brother and other singers I suppose. I mean Eloise is grand opera. May be an influence that Queen profited from!
Yep a brilliant masterpiece of a song which Paul had no chance to ever surpass. however. The royalties alone from that one song would keep him comfortable for the rest of his life.
I remember seeing them in Finsbury Park along with the Beachboys. They stood on the stage in all black with silver belts and sang Eloise. I have always loved that song and still have the record.
itys such a pity paul died they were very talented just like there mam ..marion ryan ...i am a twin and my sister and i can sing together nicely xxxxxx
I hope by now you've heard the song 'Eloise' then! Barry's greatest hit record, written by his brother Paul! Absolutely BLISTERING vocals, and the originals video is a hoot!
YEAH I KNOW! BUT I WAS IN 'TOTAL LOVE ' WITH BARRY haha! and only 14! looking back I wonder why?? haha! Those were the days when we we were silly! haha
wow....It's not only because they're Twins, but their voices sound(-ed) perfect together! If they weren't I'd say the same! Enjoyed it very much this video.THANKS!!

Well, it was 1966 and they were very young, only 17. It was their first appearance on the telly, they sang live and they were both very nervous. Barry said in an interview only a few years ago that 'we were that nervous our knees were knocking'. So pretty good considering.
Just had to watch again.... and realising that I was only about 2 years old then, it even depends on what month this was on!...hahaha ... Anyway...if I could have been or add 20 to that in some '' magical'' way? At THAT time...? Well I would have known MY faves!!

Paul Ryan wrote I Will Drink The Wine for Frank Sinatra and their dad Harold Davison was Frank's manager on his UK tours.
Paul definitely had songwriting talent,he wrote Eloise for Barry in '68 which is a brilliant song and a huge hit!!

No, you must be the most special kid in the world, just because you're so young and listen to older music.
He's adorable too. I don't know. I just like Paul more for some reason.
Helps to have a famous mother, Marion Ryan.
god is that tarbuck introducing??!!!
Brits - best musicians on the planet. American R&B next.
The only good British singers are the ones who are offspring of immigrants: Beatles, George Michael, Kate Bush etc, etc.
They both produced one of the greatest hits of the 60's Eloise.........
what about Barry?
Un año antes de la moda hippy, no?
Mas o menos, es dificil precisarlo
Sí¡¡ Los hippies empezaron como en 1966, según recuerdo
Are they twins?

Eloise was a great song but this song the twins were singing is really, really, terrible
