Dimash Qudaibergen is the best voice on planet Earth.. many believe the greatest voice of all time. He sings to our hearts and our souls and gives chills and goosebumps to those who listen.. even after you've heard him a hundred times. He lights our fire and brings new joy to old men and women who have lost their love for music.. I know because I am one of them.. and he inspires younger folk to do more and reach higher just by his mere presence. Dimash's heart lives where the angels live.. he shines his light into the dark and says "Make way.. my heart feels the presence of life." Dimash is a musical magician who's demeanor of star dust and gold rubs off on all who surround him… and on all those who listen to his voice.
Dimash is music itself clothed in a human body
Yes, Dimash is the best thing that has happened to music in a long time. 👋🎶
Hi, Ikanaide is one of my favorite songs performed by Dimash and that's not easy to say knowing all his great songs and performances. I agree with the words you've been saying during your reaction. See you next time 👏👋🎶
Even though he doesn’t actually speak Japanese, there have been many reactions from Japanese musicians who have said his performance of this song was close to perfection.
Thank you! Absolutely a total Dimash fan. Dimash forever! And, than you for playing this beautiful song. He just is so sensitive and powerful with his vocals . Such control.
One of the most fantastic songs by Dimash, if you have a soul you won't forget it.
Esta versión es asombrosa. Me gusta más que la china. La historia que hay tras la canción es conmovedora. Saludos.
I agree with you 😊 I prefer the Japanese version - it simply sounds better and the music is also a bit different than the Chinese version ❤
Hello Mr. I really appreciate your reactions to my Dear Dimash. Thank you for this.Greetings from Italy.
I really like Dimash as well. Greetings from Spain.👋🎶
песни Димаша для души. благодаря ему узнала об этой песне и теперь она моя любимая
A brief history:
Dimash has been singing a song called Autumn Strong (Late Autumn) in Mandarin (which was rewritten with the same melody as Ikanaide but with entirely different lyrics) since 2017 when he sang it on the Singer competition in China. Dimash was awarded the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong for Best Foreign Singer 2017 for his beautiful version of Autumn Strong. (Autumn Strong was rewritten to be a theme song for a tv docudrama about a WWII era Chinese born Japanese movie star who hid her Japanese heritage but was later found out and deported to Japan despite never having been to Japan. Ikanaide the original song was a man pleading desperately for his love not to leave him so it was logical to use the haunting sad melody for the new theme song.
The music composer of Ikanaide (and Autumn Strong), Koji Tamaki (original singer of Ikanaide) was celebrating his 30th anniversary in the music industry in Nov 2021 and was and is a very prominent composer/singer in Japan. Dimash was invited to sing a song for the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2021 (held online only due to the quarantine). And did beautifully with near perfect Japanese.
Koji had been a long admirer of Dimash singing the Mandarin version of the song, Autumn Strong and met Dimash via livestream on a Tokyo tv news special about Koji's career. Koji was so tickled to meet Dimash even if only via a tv screen. Dimash was so cutely embarrassed it was fun to watch. ☺ Dimash told Koji he would sing his first Japanese song for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Dimash recorded the performance of Ikanaide while he was in China making the rounds of festivals and tv shows in the fall of 2021. It turned out perfectly gorgeous. 🥰
Very beautiful song , amazing and moving Dimash’s performance ❤❤❤, the most incredible, talented and versatile vocalist in the world 👏👏👏👏
Welcome to the wonder of Dimash, the best in the world. Great reaction, looking forward to seeing more.x
I cry every time I listen to this song of parting forever from a loved one. Dimash pours himself into the emotions of Ikanaide. Koji Tamaki, original composer of this song supposedly said that of all the covers, Dimash’s is the only one that conveys his original emotion. The last time Koji sang Ikanaide he sobbed his way through it and vowed that he would never sing his song again.
Eines der schönsten Lieder von ihm , mit soviel Gefühl und Emotionen. Einfach nur Klasse...Viele Grüße aus Deutschland 😊
Димаш прекрасен,как всегда.
Sem palavras pra descrever Dimash, é incrível, saudações do BRASIL 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷❤

Dimash tiene una voz maravillosa! Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
Hi🇧🇷thank you for your reaction 🤗
React to "Endless dimensions" from Dimash digital show. Amazing 🤩
Thanks for reacting to my favorite song by Dimash! So glad you enjoyed it as much as I. I live in the US but I was born and raised in Japan and Dimash’s Japanese pronunciation is amazing! Also glad you recognized how skillfully he sang this heart-breaking song. With his phenomenal vocal skills, Dimash tugs at my emotions with his passionate pleas, desperately asking his love “not to go.” Your reaction was super! Thanks again! 💕💕💕
And yet she left. Therefore, the ending of the song is very dramatic. Dimash looks at his hands, seeing that they are empty. Sad regret and bow in gratitude for what happened in the past...
Благодарю Вас)) Посмотрите музыкальные клипы "Акросс Бесконечные Измерения" и "Омир"
É perfetto....nn c'è altro da dire ❤❤
Best singer in the world.
Thanks: original song is from Koji Tamaki - japanese legendary singer - you should check him too (younger or older - also uncomparable).

My favorite. Song mean Don’t Go. Sad true story behind the lyrics. Makes me cry every time I hear the song.
Thank you for your reaction. This is beautiful. FYI- the official mv for "Smoke" is coming out in 3 days! He released a performance video last month. I can't wait!
He really is one of a kind
Me encantó tu reacción. Una canción con una historia detrás de ella, increíble.
En China AUTUMN STRONG e igual Dimash la canta en chino, y se escucha bellísima. Escuchala en el concurso I'm singer en el 2017❤❤❤
As others have said, we first heard this as Autumn Strong in mandarin on the I Am Singer competition. At concerts recently, Dimash has done a mashup of both versions, which is perfect as we all have our own favourite.
💕💕💕👍👍👍💕💕💕Dimash is absolutely breathtaking!!! Thank you for your reactions of him. MORE DIMASH please.💕💕💕👍👍👍💕💕💕
Música Japonesa maravilhosa!
Dimash simplesmente extraordinário e apaixonante!
👏🏽👏👏🏻👏🏻👏🏼👏🏾🎶🎶❤️❤️🇧🇷🇧🇷
Very good analysis. Thank you!
❤❤❤❤
Another song which he sings entirely in a quiet, breathy voice is "Okay". Not sure if you've seen it yet. It also has a great official video! I don't know where Dimash's "ceiling" is, but he can sing at leasts one or two notes off the piano. 🇨🇦
💗💗💗💗🌸
Thank you so much for the reaction ❤❤❤
❤❤
Hi again!, I've watched all your reactions to Dimash, and I would like to recommend some essential songs that you haven't reacted so far, just in case you consider right to react to them: Across Endless Dimensions, Omir live acoustic version (with his brother playing the guitar), Love Tired Swans (Music Video), The Story of One Sky (MV, Master Piece), Screaming (MV). Stay well 👋🎶
Yes, Dimash has "Whistle tone": In the song "Unforgattable Day" (only in Gaku's show, th-cam.com/video/u52XDilf628/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o4lHIeqMv_IPOq_L ) he hits a D8 (!!!!). In partnership with Chinese artist Li Yugang, in the song "Druken Concubine + Diva Dance" ( th-cam.com/video/jCrNVaXCB0k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=w9E-1DQpC2Piv7DZ ) he hits an F#7!
Simply love these songs 😊 Thank you for requesting them 🎶
SIN PALABRAS
There is another version by the composer a Japanese guy Togi tamacki who pulls your heart out. Also check out Autumn Strong the back story is harrowing❤❤❤( Gloria Wu has translated it)❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for a wonderful comment and for the info. I did not know a lot of what you wrote. My favorite version is Ikanaide and after your explanations I have a better understanding of why that is so ❤🤗❤
He can sound exactly like cello violins electric guitar. If you notice in this song where you liked the higher notes and violins were playing he sounded like a violin.
Watch his NYC concert 2019 Dec. My absolute fav. His 1st concert in America.
Incredible, greetings from Australia
This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!". For those who want to know the original work, just check this video: th-cam.com/video/2j3ab7cu_30/w-d-xo.html
Mágica canción,...
Me gusta más esta versión en japonés que la versión en chino que también canta Dimash. Y también me gusta mucho más que la versión original cantada por su autor japonés
Wait until you hear hes low deep voice he can hit the roof and go into the basement........
It means, Please don't go.

Autumn Strong 🇨🇳 & lkanaide 🇯🇵
There’s a historic backstory
🥺China WWII Japan😢💙
The “Autumn Strong” performance
of Dimash in China’s
“I’m a singer” competition.
He learned Chinese in a week 🇨🇳
Now he’s learned Japanese & sings the original version for Japan 🇯🇵
The JAZZ FESTIVAL was during LOCKDOWN 😯
This puts his language count at 13
at the time of this recording 💿
His HONOR is showing again‼️🤗

I love how he’s blended the
🇯🇵 & 🇨🇳 songs together
with the warble in the beginning’s, and the vocalizing “Her” at the ending’s 🥺
The song writer 🎼 praised Dimash on his getting the “Ah’s” 🎶 so perfectly to what he intended they should convey in each phase👌🎤
Well It Is Dimash‼️🤣😂💦
I also watched a Japanese reactor comment that the 🇯🇵 language is usually pronounced wrong with a hard consonant sound of most western speakers. He said that it’s different and should be weaker to get it right. He was so impressed with Dimash getting the enunciation correct ❤️🇯🇵
Well It Is Dimash‼️🤣😂💦

👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the pandemic, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live.
In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs:
* S.O.S. - th-cam.com/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/w-d-xo.html
* Samaltau - th-cam.com/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/w-d-xo.html
The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui.
In the same year, the song was used as the theme song for a Chinese-Japanese television series Farewell, Lixianglan, about the Japanese woman Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920 - † 2014) a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling.
Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese.
Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to Koji Tamaki. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out:
Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - th-cam.com/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/w-d-xo.html
Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs:
"… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. "
In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: th-cam.com/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/w-d-xo.html
The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently:
- The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable
- The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking.
I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum.
I've never heard anything like that from other singers in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery.
* The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/w-d-xo.html
This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong.
* Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/437IEsDIZfE/w-d-xo.html
* Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - th-cam.com/video/-ewR8Boc21I/w-d-xo.html
