This and singstar challenge are probably the best mods I’ve played. I’m genuinely surprised how high quality these are compared to a lot of the big mods that feel really shallow. Not to mention that fighting mechanic, it fits so well with the game unlike Indie Cross which feels like an afterthought. I dunno, indie cross' fighting mechanics seem to be more smoothly implemented than this, that just looks like they randomly decided to put a fighting mechanic that's basically the same as Indie Cross with a different look the only difference being that now you have HP
One of the things that makes the art for this so awesome is that many characters use completely different assets for each note. For example, zibidi has a seperate body asset for all of his notes, and seperate arms, hands etc. And bayasa has different hands for all his notes. It’s so well animated because you can see how the characters are with depth, and you could easily imagine them in 3D and shit.
