@@casperes0912 Hi Casper, the main challenge was getting the data from the games archive files into somewhere I could read them. The SoulsFormats GitHub project was useful for this, it allowed me to extract the game's data and re-serialise it. Once the data is readable it's just a matter of writing software to move things around (I built a model of the games rooms, items, locations, enemies in C# for this). There is a guide for changing the files and using debug mode on NexusMods. Additionally, the souls modding community on Discord is very knowledgeable about the game and answered many of my questions.

@@Metalton95 Well...guitar doesn't usually go good with rap in my opinion, but that's probably because the DJ's don't usual implement tremolo picking into their guitar playing. It would sound cool in a rap beat if it was blended right, and not too loud, but most rappers don't even know what a tremolo is, let alone can they play one. lol I would go with real guitar, but use samples with the rest of the songs compositions.
6:20:16 Garl Vinland's shield has basically 100% magic resist and yet he's not utilizing it in an area with some magic enemies who do a lot of damage. I think those ghost things that shoot those arcane lasers are probably the most op enemies in the game.
The red-eyed spear bro was also my stopping point. I had no concept of returning to areas later in the game and figured that's just what enemies were going to be and stopped playing.
People in the chat like “Go back you missed an item” talking about an item that lobos did not look at or even know existed, I don’t think that counts as missing it that just not having the exact layout of every map memorized.
Honestly, I was more unhappy going from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls, than Dark Souls to Dark Souls 2. Replacing the pressure of completing an area and a boss, with wandering around lost, still baffles me today. Maybe they used the cash they saved by not devoting time to creating interesting bosses, on a Spirograph for the level designers instead?

An anime you should definitely check out is the Monogatari series, Lobos. It's fanfuckingtastic. I saw it (well, 59 episodes of the now 100 +3 movies) seven years ago and stopped (to let the episodes catch up so I could binge), and earlier this month rewatched it all from Ep1 to finish the series. In these seven years, it's remained my favorite anime out of about 200 I've seen, and I wound up appreciating it even more this time around. It involves main character Koyomi Araragi who is surrounded by supernatural "monsters", also known as "oddities", and various girls who are afflicted by them or involved with them in some way. It's very comedic at times, with lots of references to other things (including other anime), though has a lot of serious moments aside from the quirkiness. Koyomi's personality is interesting. He's one of few main characters who can keep up with the flow of what's going on, which is saying a lot due to the flow of the conversations in the series. Speaking of the flow of the conversations, I'd only recommend it if you've seen a few anime with subtitles, though. The series isn't dubbed and it's very dialogue heavy, which can go by fast. So you wanna be used to reading subs. The watch order can also be confusing, especially because the series wasn't released in chronological order of the Light Novels, but the watch order is definitely the best order to watch it over the chronological order, due to how they set the episodes up. yes it is. If you have a i9-9900k overclocked it works really well. But some games also work on lower end hardware like this game and persona 5 for example
The problem with RPCS3 is that sometimes new updates cause regressions or bugs in games that were previously stable, so the latest release is not always the obvious choice and you have to stick with an older version until the bug is fixed. Aside from that, if you have a decent CPU (at least 8 threads) many popular games are now playable.

Interesting I was able to run Demon's Souls with no issues with RPCS3 Version 8642 and now that I have updated not so much! Now I can't see my saved characters and it is starting a new game. I can see the Shield in your version as well and that disappeared as well.
i think dark souls 1 and demons souls are tied for favorite with me. dark for gameplay but theres just something about the graphic style of demons i prefer

Try to find a good deal on a PS3, they should be incredibly cheap by now! I picked one up, along with a copy of DeS, in early 2013 just because I had played Dark Souls so much on 360. Ended up rage quitting on Flamelurker and never picked it up again, but it's a really interesting game.

There is an item you continually miss. After you pull the lever to open the boss gate for 1-1, turn LEFT instead of right.

Interesting I was able to run Demon's Souls with no issues with RPCS3 Version 8642 and now that I have updated not so much! Now I can't see my saved characters and it is starting a new game. I can see the Shield in your version as well and that disappeared as well.

i think dark souls 1 and demons souls are tied for favorite with me. dark for gameplay but theres just something about the graphic style of demons i prefer

Try to find a good deal on a PS3, they should be incredibly cheap by now! I picked one up, along with a copy of DeS, in early 2013 just because I had played Dark Souls so much on 360. Ended up rage quitting on Flamelurker and never picked it up again, but it's a really interesting game.
